Well this was just one game that got away from us. Poor decisions in the 4th Quarter by BB and just not enough pressure on Manning. Pretty sure we wont be living this game down for a while from the entire NFL fan base, but that's life. We will do better and I am sure we will.

So onto the Jets and a good win at home.

Until this team wins a road game, this team is a unknown...

well...let's take a known...let it be known...we're gonna MURDER that Rats

I am encouraged that we played a really good game. I just hope they aren't emotionally down after this fiasco.

We've had too many games get away from us. This will get me flames, but I've switched over to being sick of the knee-jerk optimism here whenever we lose a game. This team, especially the coaching staff, deserves to be frowned upon for a few minutes.

Yeah, imagine having to play the Colts in Indy again in the playoffs, how much this game is going to be talked about.

Agreed. We played well and loosing by 1 point hurts, but I am sure we will be fine.

We'll see. How they come out on Sunday will tell us alot about this team. And let's face it, this is a team with alot of new parts and we (or at least I) cannot be sure how they'll react to such a choke job.

what i love about this team is its ability to forget what happened the previous week and focus on the next game. I have no doubt that our attention is focused on the Jets and a very important divisional game.

Does this loss hurt? Of Course

But i think this makes us more motivated to make sure this doesnt happen again. Ill say it right now, THIS TEAM WILL WIN IT ALL!

I like where the offense is heading, minus two of our RBs who we should have back by playoff time and the defense will be better come january. Missing Warren on that DL was huge tonight especially late in the game.

Those of us who are "knee-jerk optimists" would prefer to look at the glass half-full.

I personally follow the Patriots because I enjoy watching them play.

There's always room for optimism—even the mere promise of "Oh God, this year's team sucks, but they'll get great draft picks next year" that has to sustain fans of teams like Cleveland.

The Jets have lost 5 out of their last 6. Crushing Tennessee and Tampa was fun and so it will be against the Jets. But I would love to see a win against a good team the following week against the Saints. This team needs at least one win against a good team this season before the playoffs start just to build a little confidence.

On the flip side, youth usually brings with it resilience.

I do believe they will react well. But who knows, I feel like alot of the mystique of this team has worn off.

Tonight gave the Jets fans a new life. Going to their boards, it is funny that they went from the season being over to them winning the division because they will be one game back with the head to head tiebreaker after next weekend.

I'm not going to say the Jets have no chance because they do have a chance to win, but you would think the Pats lost to a team that was 4-4 going into this weekend and the Jets lost to an undefeated team based on the way some of them are talking. I have seen they blast the Pats lack of defense (eventhough the Pats were very stout on defense against the high powered Colts for most of the game).

Unlike the Jets fans, I'm not going to sob and whine because we blew a game we should have won.

I just hope we take out our frustration on the Jets with a fury next week. I want us to dismember them. No prisoners.

It should be fun. The Jets have lost 5 out of their last 6 games. It was fun beating up on Tampa and Tennessee too.

Well you gotta give it to the Jest fans. They have so many dreams of winning that they will go upon any and all news to make them selves feel better.

I have no problem with fans crying about how their team gave the game away unless it is a pattern week after week. It is part of being a fan. What I don't accept from the Pats players or any other players is doing it themselves. That is what the Jets players do.

Brady and Belichick took responsibility tonight for their parts in the loss and so will every other Pats player. They will accept their responsibility for it, learn from it, and move on. That is all I care about.

Unfortunately, the Jets fans cannot say the same thing about their players. Sanchez talked about how well he played and congratulated his teammates for playing so well.

This sounds crazy but I do think you have to win the next two games, if for some reason we win our next two then we will be 6-5 going into the game against NE. If NE is 7-4 then Miami will have something to play for. NE is definately a better team then Miami but the last thing I think the pats want to do is give the dolphins hope. Hope can sometimes propel you.
