With DE Green, WR Tate and RB Taylor out....who will the 5 be that are inactive??
I do not think this is as easy with a TON of players injured, from Doubtful to Probable....
My guess is that T Light will not play and they will give him another week to rest.....Also..I think Koppen plays, starts and will be OK...(basically giving the backup role to Connolly; I really think if it was a serious injury, Simmons would be back, so they have more inside line help..meaning Ohrenberger isn't ready) OL Ohrenberger will be inactive (5th)......
From here, it's kind of hard to determine as there are so many questionable..and WHO really knows the extent of the injury.....
It's really kind of a shell game..and a puzzle...I do think Koppen will start at C...and both Baker and Watson will play..(I do believe that if either was NOT OK..they would move Meyers up to the roster..) With Tate out...I think that really means that Edleman will be ready and play..with the only assumption being if he isn't, they could make a move to IR Tate and bring Nunn or Stanback in from the Practice Squad.
So the last 3....I think they will rest Morris and give him another week..although in a surprise move, he could be active, giving them a real inside threat on the ground. And the other two...S Arrington and Lockett... I think if Tate is out, the return job will go to Wheatley...so that will mean Lockett will be the odd one out..(But again, that could change if Sanders's groin is bad..making him inactive.)
Banta-Cain, Brace, Meriwether...all will be active, although Brace could be teh inactive one of the 3...meaning a DB or Morris could be active.
A lot of ifs here..depending on injuries....
**Green, Taylor, Tate, Light, Ohrenberger, Morris, Arrington, Lockett** (with options if others of the questionable are injured a bit worse...)

I would LUVVVV if Morris and Edelman played. It will most likely just be Ed though.

I tend to agree Morris probably NOT playing..but I think Edelman is in...later today when they leave..some will not go...and then it's obvious they will be out..

Tate
Green
Taylor
Ohrnberger
Morris or Green-Ellis
Arrington or Wheatley
Light or LeVoir
Lockett or Edelman

Not sure of the choices on all 4....I do think if by any chance Light is active, LeVoir won't be..but I just do not see that in the cards this week. The other three are interesting, but even if Morris was active, would they then want Green-Ellis not to be? If Morris is still not 100% and is aggravating an injury I THINK they would not wish to have just Faulk and Maroney...which is why I am not sure it's an either or choice.
I do agree with Arrington being inactive, but Wheatley is needed most likely for returns with Tate scratched. Edelman or Lockett I do not see as a choice..If Edelman is out..they will have only 3 receivers active..with the 2 tight ends and running backs..Just not enough..which is why I think Edelman will be in.
I wonder when they will leave this PM and if there will be more known information if players do not travel...or will they take those questionable and keep teh Colts guessing??

Matt Light to me is the interesting choice. Even if he's 90% is it better to have Light on the sidelines in case Vollmer implodes against Feeney. Does Vollmer look over his shoulder if Light is on the sidelines?

Vollmer is not going to implode.. you're forgetting Baker who can slot or go to protect.

Better to have Light at 100%

I hope your right, just worried a couple of Feeney spin moves and Vollmer might lose confidence. I can't remember the last time such an inexperienced Pats left tackle had to face a HOF pass rusher.

This is like playing Sudoku on "evil" mode.

I think Seau is inactive this week.

I think Alexander will sit and Arrington will play.

I agree with this.. Our DB's will be real busy, and we need to spell them whenever possible, and plugging Arrington into ST means more rest for someone.

He did post a DNP for last week...so it's a real possibility. He did say that he thought he had about six games in him..so I am sure that he will be used here and there when needed...so a possibility.

Light will be on the sideline to mess with Freeney's head, Not Vollmers. Light owns Freeney. A few hard glances from the sideline and Freeney's name won't be mentions all game. BOOK IT.

Alexander is one of the team's best ST players..why would he sit?? My guess is that Arrington's non inactive status had to do with 1) Alexander's groin injury...that seemed to happen Sat/early Sunday as well as 2) the fact that they were looking for speed to counteract Ginn. That is not the case this week with the Colt returners and I would be surprised if EA is again inactive.

I'm hoping since Vollmer is extra big, Freeney will be unable to spinmove. :D

According to Price via Patriots Twitter...Morris is out for the game...NO surprise at all...Tate, Green, Taylor, Morris...Light I think will be the 5th...followed by Ohrenberger..the last two could be interesting.

iam concered about our 3rd WR position than anything else. Collie and garson has stepped in nicely to help manning but we cant do with aiken all the time and tate is out

watching the 2007 game on nfln ...jarvis green has some great games agaisnt the colts. i think this injury is being not mentioned a lot...
