Aye you beat me to it by about a minute.

Re: 2003 Patriots @ Colts now on NFL Network.

Willie McGinest..................yesssssssssssss!

Re: 2003 Patriots @ Colts now on NFL Network.

Brady used to be so sharp back then..

Re: 2003 Patriots @ Colts now on NFL Network.

Kevin Faulk.........catchin' passes,........primary running back..............superb blitz-pickup........just plug him in for the Super Bowl in 2025.

What a big difference.. back then CB's in man to man straight up, no cushion. Deep safeties. Faulk up the middle out of the shotgun.

Forgot Bethel had #81..

I know Bethel is not a popular Patriot...but I don't think we win our 2nd SB unless he has those big returns to beat Indy in this game. If we lose that game, it is NE traveling to Indy in January for the AFCCG.

how good was eugene wilson to start with
also disspointing that indy fired its ST coach after dungy left this yr. they have always been quite bad in the past...

its amazing to watch our D and pressure manning with vrabel and mcginest and crennel doing his gyrations on the sideline.
i forgot that without the faulk fumble it shouldnt have come down to the lastplay.

what a great game. at first glance i thought it was the 06 afccg but i am glad it was the 03 game instead, much better result

Watching it again.. and watching them putting the hurt on Clark big time. They've got to do this again. Clark faked run block and rolled out on a slant but Law didn't buy any of it and drilled him. Wonder if we should look out for this on Sunday.

Interesting how they start in that tampa 2 cover presnap but went to cover 4 at the snap and Brady wasn't fooled at all. short short short, methodical advancement.

Harrison playing so deep- forcing the Colts to go up the field systematically. Yet he has such a nose for where the play develops, you'd never know it with all the closeups.

3rd :26, Brady gets confused by what the Colts throw at him- calls timeout. So rare.. I think we get spoiled sometimes and forget how well he can pick them apart. Throws a pick, next play.

Then we go to work, draw plays with Faulk up the middle. Makes me think how many times we've done this, so this makes you think, are we going to try that this Sunday because you know they will be looking out for it and will catch up to it one way or another?

Love it that someone on our D was always in motion. But those picks.. man.. picks, picks, picks.. I'm just hoping our DB's are prepared for that, come Sunday.

What an awesome game. Hopefully it won't be so close tomorrow night.

On another note, I much prefer the view from that telecast as compared to all the crud and graphics they throw on the television today. Maybe I'm old school but I like my TV screen to have as few clutter as possible.

And the catches against Seattle and especially the TD against the Titans in the divisional round in 03.

Scary as it is........ Bethel >>>>>>> Chad.

Don't get me wrong.....I love our recievers Moss and Welker. But does anyone miss having two good outside route runners in Branch and Givens?
