Glad to see Warren is going to make a go of it...

Let's see if Brace gets some action. I am glad he is activated. He looked good in the preseason. Let's hope he can translate into the regular season. Probably not today, but this could be a good first step though.

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

Looks like Brace and Wheatley will be the guys to watch. Hopefully Terrence steps it up.

I don't expect to see either to see the field all that much unless it is a major blow out. I hope both just progress.

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

hmm, so we go with 5 cb's? arrington, wheatley, butler, bodden and springs?

and we hurt ST and take one less LB since were leaving eric

interesting....i would imagine cb's would not be as important here, arrignton will prob take the ST role from eric

if alexander gets deactevated now, i do not see how this is a permanent occurance

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

Good stuff. Watson is going to be in the line-up. I really like our chances now (as if I didn't before).

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

This will be an interesting opportunity to evaluate the game performance of rookies and backups we haven't seen much of. I love the opportunity to give our backups a chance to contribute and strengthen our depth by geting real game speed experience.

Probably LOTS of Jets fans will be watching this contest and blowing fuzes as they realize that the AFCE is lost to them yet again.

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

I wonder if the Pats have been coaching up Brace for specific run stopping duties against the wildcat. He and/or Wilfork in the middle is a lot of girth.

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

I thought it was possible that ARrington would be in...and I had Ninkovich possibly out...instead it was Alexamder...My thinking is that they were going with speed on special teams because of Ginn..the slowest LB replaced by a speedy corner and hard hitter..

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

So Wilhite is inactive and Arrington is playing. Doesn't say much about his future here in New England.

Wheatly, Tate and Brace are of particular interest. I hope to see Tate get a few touches.

Wilhite has been out with an "illness" all week.

Yeah, damn people's immune systems being compromised! Illness, we don't tolerate no stinkin' illness!!

Better still... they won't HAVE to step it up, because the real players will control Miami.

Ridiculous. If he's got H1N1 he might just be kept away from the others as to avoid mass infection. Wilhite, when he's not pulling something running away from randoms in his driveway, has been very solid.

Re: Pats Inactives: Light, Green, Edelman, Wilhite, Taylor, Morris, Alexander, Ohrnbe

did anyone notice brace?

also, i saw wheatley in there....not sure if its his fault, but miami's wr's were getting TOO open for my liking and their abilities, why?

it seemed to me thy actually picked on bodden, and he wasnt jumping the curl/come back route, which is what they were playing a lot of

in other words, they tried to copy the denver playbook, and did pretty good, holding us to 27 pts
