I love this line:

"I thought they won the Super Bowl," said Rhodes this afternoon in a fired-up Jets locker room. "We thought we saw some confetti coming out of the sky a little bit. But they were very happy to get that win and win a Monday night game.

NY Jets safety Kerry Rhodes fires first salvo in rematch against Miami Dolphins | New York Jets - - NJ.com

Kinda ironic that Rhodes would trash the Dolphins for treating their win like they won the Super Bowl when Kris Jenkins said this about the Jets' approach to the Pats game:

“We’re going to be playing this game like it’s the Super Bowl,”

New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady says 'talk is cheap' in response to Rex Ryan

I hope the Dolphins kick their arses. I have always hated the Jets, but this new trash talk attitude especially when they are 4-3 and got beat by the team they are trash talking about is going over the edge.

Re: OT:Jets trash talking is back

Ah. The most overrated safety in the league is running his mouth again. Got it. I can't wait until they come to Foxboro to get slaughtered.

I cannot wait to play them again... I hate them so very very much.

Well, it's nice to know that they've learned absolutely nothing from that humiliating stretch that they just went through.

Isn't it? It's almost Biblical...

I don't know if we'll beat the Jets in the second game, but one thing I think we can all see quite clearly is just how stupid their locker room is. If the next game was an Academic Bowl type competition the Pats would pound them into dust.

I guess it all starts from the top. I've got socks smarter than Rex Ryan.

Meh who cares let them talk its what they do best...

I use to be envious of the Jets for having Rhodes at safety, but we have two pretty nasty safeties in the BM's and Sanders ain't too shabby and Chung is up and coming. talk about depth

I do. Welker is back for us and Brady is definitely better than he was in Week 2. For them, they're missing their clog in the middle (Jenkins) and their home run hitter on offense (Washington). Not only do I think we'll beat them in Foxboro, I think we'll destroy them.

Nah, they forgot the losses the minute they beat the crap outta the JaMarcus 'I'm not the problem" Russel and the rest of the girls in Black and Silver.

Hopefully Miami lays the smack down on'm again!!

I just can't see how the Jets stop Miami's wildcat without Jenkins. It would be a good week to have Brown and Williams in your fantasy lineup.

Either way, I want the total and utter destruction of the AFC East by the Patriots in the coming weeks.

I can go with that.. :D

Fireman Ed can have these azzhats ... we'll be living on the moon before these clowns ever win anything.

McGowan waves from the back ...

Edit: Bah, missed how you referenced both BM's there ... SMRT

This year's Jets team has to be the biggest collection of won nothing douche bags going in professional sports right now. Seriously, the team is just a bunch of idiots and frauds and loud mouth jerks who haven't won squat. I know there have been certain versions over the years as a fan of various Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and particularly Red Sox teams I have not liked the actual personalities on the team or the way they meshed together or their leadership or whatever.

This Jets group is an example of that. Just jerks. Period. Plain and simple. Idiots who talk with no reason to do so. And it doesn't appear they will have any reason to any time this season, really. And yet they keep talking. If I were a Jets fan, I think this would be a version of the team I rooted for that just annoyed me. If I was honest about it.

But who knows? Maybe Jets fans can't see what a bunch of jackasses they have from top down right now. Talk when you do something Jets.

How is that? Jenkins is not responsible for anything else than penetrating the A gaps. By the time Jenkins gets past LOS, Ricky is already gone if they run his power sweep, or Brown will have shot the B/C gap.

I could be wrong here but I haven't seen Miami hit the A gap out of the WC.

When you take the best player off the defensive line it has a domino affect.

The Jets are just one of those insecure teams that despite doing nothing, always runs their mouth and acts like they're an elite team, sort of like the Steelers were in the years before they won Super Bowl 40. I can't wait to see the Pats destroy them in a few weeks.

I think you are wrong on this one. I can't find anything to back it up, but I believe I remember seeing Williams and Brown run right at Jenkins in the last game, right up the A-Gap. His fat body makes it to that he gets tired easily, but he was extra tired in that game and it was because he had to take on Brown and Williams head up. Now, whether or not he was meeting them in a different gap is debateable and, like I said, I don't have any evidence to back up my claim that the Dolphins attacked the A-Gap in their first meeting.
