WEEI.com: 10 Things We Learned Yesterday

Nice wrap up, Chris. The team seemed happier with the end result than some of the fans and media, but what do they know... Mankins is lucky the league provides RT airfare for this shindig or he'd be paddling home for the bye. BB is getting fed up with the inconsistent execution of his OL because it impacts the offense across the board and that in turn impacts his defense. Welker is the prototype Patriot. Brains, drive, humility, consistent focus, non-stop motor, guts, guile, sense of humor...you name it he's got it. To think we may have stumbled onto a clone in the wings as well in mini-me is downright scary.

At this point, need to respectfully disagree with Chris on Tate's chances for #3 receiver role. IMO, he shows promise on the returns and had a nice end-around, but as he self-proclaimed he ran the wrong route on Brady's 2nd INT. Still has a ways to go in the passing game, but since the coaches felt comfortable enough with him out there, he must be grasping the offense pretty well.

Nice wrap-up, but this was Vollmer's SECOND start, right?

Nice write-up Chris, hope the players enjoy a few days off.

One thing I learned yesterday ... Toni Braxton is still gorgeous (at least I think that was her singing the national anthem yesterday?)

I agree. I think Tate has limitless potential but did he even catch a pass in the game? I'm puzzled how someone can be talked about as being the Pats third reciever when he has yet to catch a pass in the NFL.

Actually, I don't think it has anything to do with Tate being good or bad. He and Aiken ARE our third receivers. Unless Edelman learns how to catch with a broken arm.

We basically have four receivers right now.

Another outstanding article.
Hopefully, we can keep this up.:)

Can we change Edeman's name to "Maxi Me"?

Chris: Fact Check!

The Bucs were not the last team to pick Brady off in the red zone since 2005 (if you meant end zone, that's still incorrect). Brady was picked off in the endzone by the Chargers in the playoffs in 2007.

Good wrap up, no pie in the eye stuff about some of our youngun's... playing LT is a very daunting task and not much can be told about Tate after one game..

I've been thinking long and hard, and once Wes figures out how to morph with his slightly taller counterpart, they will become Jesley Wedelman, the unstoppable force.

Can't stand Weei's website and their childish numerical lists.
5 things I learned at Foxboro today....7 things we learned at Fenway last night......10 things I learned in school today. Weei.com is so kindergarden.
Definitely not a must read for me. A very lame site and their writers are major league arse kissers of the teams they cover.

Yeah, well you're a poop-face. :p

I would make a list of things that are just plain wrong with his views but that would be childish.

Back on topic , this Pats team will continue to win. The last two weeks was a confidence builder. This defense is coming together. Brady is in-synch with Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

This team is prepping for a deep playoff run.
Anyone agree with me?

We're not idiots. Please take yourself to the political forum where you can be destroyed in the proper context. Or just leave. You're not liked or wanted.

I'm just trying to talk Pats football. This team will be a deep playoff team. I just hope we don't have to play Denver in The playoffs.
I feel as though this defense will improve every week. This is a younger defense than we are used to. There will be growing pains but it will pay off in the end.

That's a pretty cool picture of Rush Limbaugh...

I'm pretty sure Denver is playoff bound.

I don't understand any picture in this thread.

It woud be helpful if you guys did not "quote" problematic posts and just report them. We may not be the quickest guns in the west but we will take care of things, if needed, as quickly as we can.

The poster has been PM 'ed to take down his Avatar and Sig and his political statements have been delelted. He has been told to confine his political comments to the political forum.

How he responds will determine if we see him again. My PM to him was before I saw the image he posted and I will say I did not like that one bit.
