Did anyone see the end to the bengals steelers game? Palmer led the bengals to a game winning TD drive with 13 seconds left. That's 2 straight games where the steelers vaunted D has not looked great. But it's still early.

Yes. I saw it and I loved it.

It was almost worse this past weekend with the Chargers. I'm a little worried about our team getting unfocussed late in games. That's the first time we lost a game with an 11 point lead in 5 years. Pretty sure the last time we lost it was to the Bengals as well.

To have a 28-0 lead over the Chargers and have to kick a 43 yard fieldgoal with 40 some odd seconds left to go up 38-28 was very very dis-satisfying to say the least.

We better bury the freaking Lions and keep pouring it on until they tap out or I'm going to drive to Pittsburgh and punch the entire defense in the face, starting with the tough guy Harrison. hit somebody Punk!!!

Well a better game this past weekend, but not good enough yet. Hopefully we can continue to improve in all aspects of the game this week vs the Browns.

Good thing our defense was able to get some turnovers and keep the Browns out of the game for the most part. We gave up 4 and its rare in the NFL to win with giving the ball over that often. Good thing the Browns are really bad.

Steelers vs Vikings is going to be a very tough game for us.

ya.. the vikings are looking pretty good... and with the way the steelers d has been in the second half, it could get pretty interesting..

i didn't see the game vs the browns yesterday, but did troy play yet? if not when's he expected to be back?

Yep, the Steelers are gonna have their hands full this week with Minnesota for sure. It helps that Winfield will likely be out, but the Steeler D is gonna have to step up this week, no doubt. Of course, Minnesota's Def also had a very Steeler-esque 4th quarter meltdown against the Ravens last week, and came damn close to losing that one. Pretty stoked about this week's matchup. I have a feeling this is going to be a very telling game as to where exactly these two teams stand in the big picture.

Steelers get a huge win to move to 5-2 and into the bye week. Was nice to see the Defense step up and make huge plays during a game the offense struggled. Another Fumble in the Redzone by Mendenhall, not good. Another big Kick Return too, that has to be fixed during the bye week for certain.

2 weeks from now, the Broncos. Another great test. Most likely without Ryan Clark who could actually die from the high altitude. Think he'll be back in the Burgh during that game. We'll see if we can survive in the deep secondary without him for one game.

i'm not sure the steel wins their division this year. i think they will be a WC.

Well it'll be tough with the Bengals playing as well as they are. But I called it would be them and Us, and not the Ravens. I had a feeling the Ravens would drop off a little. The Bengals were due to be better, but I didn't think they'd be as good as they are currently playing.

They have us on the Tie Breakers right now, especially with one game over us, and now with the Head to Head over the Bears who beat us earlier in the year. That's going to be tough. We have to win the AFC North by one game to win the Division. A Tie breaker won't do.

Well...nice big win over the Broncos yesterday...now the Showdown with the Bengals to take back our place atop the AFC North. Big game this weekend, but I like our chances. Especially if the Steelers play as well as they did in last night's second half.

Yep...HUGE game coming up this week for the Steelers! Bengals are playing some good football right now, but if the Steelers can take this past week's second half momentum into this game, I don't think Cincy can hang. Let's not forget that the Broncos aren't a bad football team either (at least it was looking that way) and the Steelers showed total dominance over them on both sides of the ball last week. It helps that they seem to be getting some confidence back in the running game with Mendenhall. So happy to see him step up and start playing to his ability! I was beginning to worry that the offense was becoming too one-dimensional to compete against tougher D's. Should be a great game at Heinz Field this week.:rocker: I'm stoked!

Ugly freaking game by our offense in the redzone. Disgusting display of tackling on the Kickoff return for TD. Ben was out of sync, thank god it wasn't a playoff game cause we looked like crap and only attempted rushes 13 times in an effing field goal game?

Grossed me out to watch. Made me sick in fact. 3/15 on 3rd down, Epic Failure on my offense.

This week we better stomp a mudhole in the face of Kansas City or I'll start to get nervous about our playoff chances.

Honestly, I'd probably take the way you guys lost over the way we lost. :(

You should Dino, Cassel is operating behind a god awful o-line. Your defense should have a day out.

Oh I don't know...at least you can say "hey, at least our coach has the sack to go for it in that spot" and it didn't cost you the division race. Now I'm techincally 2 back of the Bengals...and that just sounds wrong to say out loud.

2 tickets to the game, 100 bucks. gas and food for the 3 hour drive, 60 bucks. Going all the way to Arrowhead Stadium to watch my Steelers choke and gag down a pathetic loss to the Chiefs....Effing Priceless....

Stupid freaking Steelers...I've never been so angry at a loss before. I mean sure, I've seen us lose some dang tough games...but to be there live, with 20,000 other Steelers fans at an away game, only to watch them perform the way they did...makes me wanna puke!!!

Ok so, I thought seeing the Steelers lose live in person to the Cheifs was the worst thing I could witness this year...

and then...I get a last second loss by PITT to the West Virginia Mountaineers, followed up by an OT Loss to the Ravens...

Followed up by a Last Second loss by PITT to Cincy in a game for the Big East title...lowest point possible right...oh no...follow that up with a 4th Loss in a row for my Steelers to the EFFING Raiders at home on basically the last play of the game.

Seriously...the only thing to make it feel any worse...is if we lose to the Browns...I might just rip my own eyes out of my head if I'm forced to witness that....

If there's one player in the league who is absolutely their teams MVP it's Polamalu ... when he is on the top of his game the Steelers are a way different team.
