Pees has been calling D from the press box, the last two games

If I'm not wrong, we've had 5 interceptions and 4 sacks the past 2 games.

BTW congrats to Chung for recording his first official sack today.

That's awesome. I'm always in favor of OC's and DC's watching from the press box.

I'm waiting for some success against a good team before we deem it a good idea. The Titans and Bucs had dropped balls all over the place over the last two games, which has nothing to do with defensive schemes called by Pees.

So are you worried about another inexperienced QB in Chad Henne with 4 career starts coming to Foxboro? Will he and the wildcat put major points on the board against the Pats?

While the Patriots are giving up an average of 14.0 points per game thus far, the Patriots defense is giving up only 12.0 points per game this season. That average is lower than any of the (3) Super Bowl Patriots defenses.

Devil's advocate...maybe BB was seeing something going on with how the players were reacting to Pees being on the sidelines?

Again, devil's advocate, not what I firmly believe.

Belichick has confidence in Seau to be the defensive leader on the field.

He's more of a motivational leader at this point than anything else. Mayo anchors this D.

Both teams, despite their records, average over 14 points a game scored on offense. We held both to an average of 3.5 in the two weeks we've faced them.

I know, just goofing. His spiritual presence inspires blind faith for new Pats like Pryor, Mcgowan. He's not afraid to get in any defenders face for a liitle reminder on how to play the game right.

To a large degree, I agree. Both the Titians and the Bucs were terrible and really offered no challenge. I am happy that they have gone away from waiting for young QBs to make a mistake and instead, are attacking the QB. If will be funny how they handle Miami next week.

Totally agree.

That's why we should call him Brother Seau.. He was brought in for this purpose. On Total Access you can hear Brady say "Boy #55 said it (all) huh?" we can only guess what kind of pep talk he gave out.

BTW when Seau is on the team, we are now 18-0 in the regular season. :singing:

Me too- it's much, much easier for them to identify what's going on the field and respond to it. IMO, ideally you have your coach on the field, coords in the box.

Gotcha.. my bad.. forgot he came back last season as well. I was thinking of the time Brady said to him last week (sounds of the game) where he said something to the effect of "when you're here, we don't lose" which is technically true as far as Brady and Seau are concerned.

EDIT: we are both wrong.. the correct answer is Seau is 24-0 in terms of regular season wins streak.
