Last week's benching of AD reminds me of the time in 2003 when Ted Johnson was told that he was going to be deactivated for a game and he left the team. Johnson was underperforming at the time and him being told that he was not suiting up for a game sent him over the edge. It also lit a spark in Johnson and he turned around his career for the next twp years and became a dominant run stuffer.

Could this type of motivation do something similiar to Adalius Thomas? I guess we will get to see today.

Cant say I noticed him. what a surprise!

He was in the face of their qb's a few times, same with Burgess

1 tackle, 0 assists, 0 sacks, 0 interceptions, 0 forced fumbles, 0 recovered fumbles, Patriots 35 Tampa Bay 7.

He got some excellent QB pressure, but since it won't show up on a stat sheet it didn't happen

he, like many other of the lb's, had QB hits....

and i also didnt notice him NOT set the edge

He didnt get the stats but he played well.

burgess had a sack and a FF late in the game he played a lil better then AD did but not by much

i just think that AD is not the super star LB he was made out to be in the free agent class of 2007

Or maybe he was but even with the low-mileage he came out of Baltimore with (relative to other LBs his age), maybe he's already 'hit the wall'?

thats a good point he is 32

i all so herd i guy on one of the nenwork's i cant rember who or what network talk about it saying that Terrell Suggs was the guy with the ravens that can win the one one match up's not AD he's point was that AD was just more of a back note with the ravens that he would just get

the clean up sack's from Terrell Suggs and Trevor Pryce geting double teamed

he did make a good point i mean Jarret Johnson is the ravens sack leader right now i dont think he is much better then AD and i dont think he would be the sack leader on the pats
