Stanback, Nunn or Tate?? Everyone is going with Tate, but it could easily be Nunn who has been practicing with Brady the longest. Whichever way they go..it's their best..
For the long haul (particularly those games right after the bye week), I think we need both Tate and Nunn to be up to game speed as soon as possible. So, I would not be surprised to see both of them activated (and play) now and Levoir (who is the more experienced of the three) later. With Simmons as the OT backup, I don't see where we really need Levoir for the Bucs game.
Definitely one WR will be activated, possibly two, though I doubt it.
I'd love to see Nunn get a chance. He made some really great catches in TC and the preseason, and he's had 6 weeks of practice. But I also think Tate could be a really good player, though I don't know how ready he will be after such a long lay-off.

Galloway had more talent and big play ability than Edelman. WR is about running the right routes in NE.I'm going with this guy.
Nunn can probably offer a "safer" option due to his early involvment. But, if we're not playing with a Chad Jackson, part deux in Tate - he should have the talent to offer more in terms of big play ability over the long haul.
Big play ability is not worth much if you can't catch the ball orGalloway had more talent and big play ability than Edelman. WR is about running the right routes in NE.
I am thinking Nunn if they want a WR, Tate if they want a returner, both if they want a WR and a returner.
Someone said LeVoir, which surprised me. I don't think it will be him, only because whoever they activate from PUP will likely on the 45 man roster. Oterwise why activate. I don't see LeVoir on the 45 so I don't see him being activated off PUP.
@K_CanadaJr Nunn and Tate did travel. In terms of No. 3, Aiken might be the first option for this week. Think Tate will be active.

Inactives need to be announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff. When does Belichick have to announce these players? He might wait until one minute before game time.
This is correct...they have to make roster moves the day before..and since there is no way they can sign a free agent and get them ready...they CAN make inside moves from PUP or the practice squad. It happened in the past and it should happen today IF indeed they plan to do that. There is nothing in the rulebook saying they need 53 on the roster...they could go into the game with two openings. THAT is possible..but in my opinion not probable.Inactives need to be announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Roster moves such as adding a player from PUP need to be done sometime today (Saturday); the consensus opinion seems to be by 4 pm.

Inactives 90 min before game time...that is something standard.

Practice squad eligibility is affected in some manner if the 53 man rosterWhy might they NOT fill out the 53 roster?
If they activate Nunn from the PS will they be able to get him back on the
PS without risking loss? Suppose another team would like Nunn on their PS
can that team snatch him before PATs resign to their PS?
Suppose they are not quite sure of Tate and have decided he is not ready
for returning kickoff/punts. Then why activate him at this point and lose
an open roster slot which they could use during the next two weeks for
something else?
Maybe there are reasons not to fill out the 53 roster at this point.

If they activated Nunn to the 53 he would have to go through waivers to get him back to the PS. A player on the PS can sign with another team at any time just like a free agent.
