Funny that everyone is wearing tack suits but Brady. I hope he plays as well as he looks.

Heh... I love the pic of Randy Moss with a cup of fries and two burgers in tinfoil. What, he doesn't think they'll get fed on the plane?

Thats exactly what I was thinking too, until I realized he was boarding the bus to airport. Hey, a man's gotta eat when a man's gotta eat :p

Ahh... that's more like it. That's OUR Randy, after all!

That would be the funniest goof ever if Moss and Welker started planning that 3 months ago.

Possible he did not like the choices for the meal on the plane...or it is part of his usual routine for flights...or simply wanted something extra to snack on.

Then again the caption says "Receiver Randy Moss had to eat and run while trying to catch the bus from Gillette Stadium" so he could have been behind schedule and missed his lunch.

That's actually a very fashionable continental look. I guess TFB is ready to look the part when he lands.

PS- glad to see that AD is making the trip!

Hey, I know Kraft family is generous, but they chartered a freaking Boeing 747 for the team to fly to london !

Man do they rock or what :rocker:

On the road to London - Boston.com

I wonder how seating works. If it's a normal 3-class plane, who gets first and biz and who is stuck in the cattle car. Or maybe it's one of those all biz class planes.

OK, last post from me here. I'm on an f***ing plane flying to a different country nearly every week. It's cool to see the Pats doing the same.

And now i leave for London. My brother lives there so im staying at his house and doing a bit of sightseeing on Saturday before the game on Sunday.

Go Pats!

Looks like Randy enjoys 5 Guys burgers & fries. They are really good. :YUM

Well, first off it's a Virgin Atlantic flight, and in my opinion they've been the best airline experience I've had for overseas travel. I've flown to London 3 times this year with different carriers and VA makes it a real easy trip. So, wherever anyone ends up, they're going to be pretty comfortable.

Also, I'd imagine that since it's their charter, they'll let anyone go anywhere on the plane regardless of assigned seating.

Coaches usually get first class. Probably working on Miami gameplans. Players get multiple seats per the CBA. Noticed Bill had Steven in tow. Jarvis Green mentioned his wife was going but I don't think Bob transported family this time. He arrived in London on Thursday I believe for some of the pre festivities. Think I heard Tommy say Gisele was staying home. But then again, he occasionally lies... AD did look happy. I'd prefer he look a little angry.

AD getting love from the ladies :D. I wonder if it was them who asked for the pic or he.

Overseas Economy section sucks on any airline. I'd be fighting to sit upstairs.

FWIW - the league picks up the tab for travel and accommodations and things like a practice facility for teams playing overseas. They also handle all promotion and distribution and the teams just get a fat check for going along that in most cases exceeds the take they would have realized had the game been played here. That is why the have nots are only too happy to accommodate the league's desire to expand and as long as the have's don't lose a home game nobody is too upset.
