The Bills game will be the last game in our retro's.

It will probably be our white uni's.

so you weren't in love with them like the rest of this board last week?

it's definitely a hate thing on my end.

Not at all

The red looked decent but I love the Blue.

I think old jersey styles were abandoned for a reason and I don't miss them.

Good point.

The red "throw back" uniforms they have been wearing this year are strange to me. They are different from the red uniforms that the team wore in the 1980's. The stripes and colors were similar yet different.

Didn't the British wear red?

And pardon me for saying this, but I'm not real excited about the prospect of reliving the whole "red jersey" era.

I think the old uniforms look like uniforms.

The new ones look like something that came out of a corporate design meeting.

I, for one, don't attribute winning/losing with a particular uniform style. What looks good has nothing to do with the relative success wearing different colors.

It has EVERYTHING to do with the players wearing them.

Thank ******* god. I get the nostalgia factor and all, but enough is enough.

That's because all the AFL teams got to choose a year to throw back to, as long as it was during the AFL era. The Patriots chose the 1963 season (though the helmet is the version used from the 1980s, apparently because the team thought it was more 'fan friendly' or more appealing or something like that).

Tampa Bay is the "home" team, so I would assume they'll be wearing their red uniforms.

Most of the stadium are going to be Pats fans. Including me.

Why would you want to mock your supporters? The Revolutionary War was a long, long time ago, man. :)

Everytime i see that logo i have a flashback to a time I was a kid in january 1986... not good.

I have no problem never seeing those uniforms again in my life.

too be honest i think it would be lost on them. Most people barely know what the falklands war was about!

It was back in the 1980's when cousins Kevin and Marshall fought as kids around the Thanksgiving table?
