I am rooting for the Chargers because there still is an outside chance the Pats obtain a first round bye when it's all said and done. Denver holds the tiebreaker over us unfortunately. It's so hard to root for the Chargers--it would be awesome to see them miss the playoffs despite having the most talented roster in the league for the 50th year in a row.

Who are you rooting for tonight?

Personal affections aside for McDaniels, gotta root for the Chargers for the very reasons you state.

Darn straight I'm cheering for the Bolts.

QB12

I sense an upset. I think Chargers win tonight.

A lot more at stake for them.. if they don't win tonight the division is pretty much out of reach for them.

Chargers all the way.

Upset? I think Denver's band-aid offense is going to fall at some point.

i think they're favored, so it wouldn't be an upset...

Its a no-sense cheering for the Chargers . They are a rival for a potential WC spot .

Maybe last year are you cheering for the Ravens ?

From a realistic vision . We cant earn a 1 round bye .

I am trying to figure out a way both teams get a loss in the loss column. I don't want either team to win. I don't think the Chargers are a legitimate Super Bowl contender (or playoff contender to be homest with you), but I hate them so much I can't root for them. The Broncos are more of a problem for seeding.

I don't see us losing to Denver again this year.

and I can't root for the Bolts, I just can't.

I am rooting for McDaniels all the way .

(always always root for people who have contributed to this organization when not playing for us)

Chargers win by 14 or more tonight -book it

Vincent Jackson will have a big night

I'm rooting for the Chargers, sure we'd still be a game and a half (half for H-H loss) behind Denver but it never hurts to gain on seeds above you when still in striking distance.

Yes. Unpleasant as it is, I must root for the Chargers for practical reasons. And sorry, McD, nothing personal, but it's time for your Broncs to be taken down a notch. If I ever have to read again that Kyle Orton might be the next TFB, I shall will myself to go blind. Also, I still feel I owe the Chargers a bit for doing their part in providing a Manning-free Super Bowl last year. And with any luck, I'll be able to credit mostly the play of Sproles and Scifres again rather than Rivers and LdT for the win. Not very classy of me, I know, but whatever! :D

Rooting for the Chargers of course. And I think they will win.

The Bolts being one of the few teams I have no respect for, I'd love to root against them and for Josh McD, but I don't think any of us cheering for the Broncos realize how scary it is to go TO Denver in the playoffs. I do not want that to happen to the Pats; I don't care how good we are.

So. Chargers. :(

I'm not a gambler, but +3 means that team listed is the underdog by 3 points.

My bad.. looks like I had that backwards right from the start..

I thought that meant covering the spread, e.g., Denver wins by 3.

The Bolts have two losses and have to play the Donkeys twice this year, along with the NFC East. How are they "realistically" a wildcard competitor at .500 with two wins?

As far as not earning a first round bye, the Pats could be 14-2 or 13-3. In what version of reality does that not qualify for a bye? By the way, how many times have Pats teams won 13 or more games with Belichick?

I'm not betting the farm on that outcome, but at 4-2 I'm not writing it off either.

As such, go Bolts. I like McDaniels, but his team can use some losses.
