I'm proud of Butler and Chung both coming away with their first career interceptions. Also, Pryor got in on the action forcing a fumble.

JE had a really nice punt return early in the game. Patsfans, we are seeing major contributions from our rookies early in their careers. This can only mean good things lay in wait for them as far as experience goes. Our team is young and they're coming together.

Edelman made some nice plays as well, especially that return.

Don't forget Vollmer. He played very well.

You are so right. I almost feel bad for not mentioning him in the initial post. He was responsible for springing Maroney on the long TD.

Everyone played well. Most complete team win that Ive seen in a long time.

As penance, you should do 10 laps around Rex Ryan. :p

WE have a lot of rookies on this team, most I can remember in a very long time... most seemed to play well.

Chung's INT is a big play, but I was really impressed with his run support. I think he was in on tackles of Johnson on 3 or 4 plays in a row.

Green-Ellis 7 Rush 67 Yds 9.6 Avg

Butler was Great.

Also
B. McGowan was a beast today ,6 tackles and 1 assist.

Vollmer and Butler looked good. I think they both got their first starts this week and boy did they earn em! You'd don't put up 45 points in a half without the OL keeping the QB well protected. Nice! Ran the ball well too. That is always useful to set up the play action game.

pretty much the entire 09 pats rookie class contributed today. butler had the pick when the game was still early, vollmer had a lot of key blocks and kept vanden bosch at bay, chung had several tackles (denied ringer a TD) and even though it was garbage time it was good to see him get a pick. plus, what else can you say about edelman?

It's turning into an every week thing for him. What a pickup . . .

I guess calling him Welker 1.5 at this point is all that's left. He's not quite ready for 2.0 status yet, though.

McGowan's run support is underrated. Biggest surprise of our D so far this year.

Dare I say it........Pioli was holding this team back

brings us back too as a question in another thread. is it better to go all out and get that top 10 pick or trade down like bill. it's been pretty interesting how the 4 2's have been working out
3/4 playing but brace getting no time at all.

My god man....he'll still be on his third lap by January!

Butler was good but I have to give massive credit to Vollmer. I had some doubt about him being rookie but he handled one of better DE in the league really well. I guess this will kinda develop into big dilema and drama on this board real fast.....

was glad to see them contributing
