Wanted to lighten the mood a little. It cracked me up. Put me in the elegant swan dive.

Looked like he was grass-surfing, but definitely got a beached whale vibe. Cracked me up too, unlike Shawn Springs flexing everytime he made a routine play as the Broncos were driving down the field on us.

first time something about that game has made me smile since it ended....

too bad there was too much friction, i would have liked to see him glide a little bit

i love the fact that it was all improv - he was moving forward to celebrate and got knocked over - and the rest is history.

also - 100% beached whale. someone please get the photo!!!

TBH it reminded me of Sea World when they get Shamu out of the water and onto the platform. Still loved it though.

It was on the play before the FG that made it 17-10. 7 minutes into 3rd quarter.

I checked the Pats site, Boston Globe and this yahoo site:

Photo Gallery - Yahoo! Sports

Closet pic I've seen was him in the process of taking the player down...

I thought he was doing an impression of a Jumbo Jet coming in for a landing. Particularly with his arms spread out like that.

Yeah, beached whale was exactly what I was thinking!

On a serious Vince Wilfork note ... I could not help but notice how large his stomach as gotten when he came out ofr the coin toss ... high definition shows it all. I love the guy's attitude on the field and off. But to root for him at the expense of his health leaves me uneasy. He has some serious metabolic syndrome going on there.

I know his wife addressed it in the offseason last year as I read in this article
Wife Bianca makes Patriots' Vince Wilfork a balanced lineman - The Boston Globe
but he has problems. He's going to end up with diabetes, or heart disease, sleep apnea ... any of those or all of them and more.

If being succesfull is based on his huge weight I'd rather see him in street clothes ... I've been there and done that and now I live with the problems I did not take care of when I had the chance. Vince has been battling his weight since he was a Hurricane - he needs to redouble his effort for his family's sake.

I'm not sure that Wilfork is any fatter than he has been. I think the white is just not quite as slimming as the dark blue or the red. That's not to say his weight is healthy.

My son claims Vince's move is called a "Superman".
