I like to give credit to the two teams the pats lost.. They out played the pats and are they better teams.. Pats are going thru a transition.. ANy fan should know that.. They have a lot of young players on defense and their start player, Brady, is still rusty... He's looked average for the entire season (maybe you could throw out atlanta).. Brady really cost them the win today.. He missed a lot of open passes and two were for TD's..

I wouldn't count them out.. But they are definitely not in the elite status at the the moment..

I don't buy it today. We had a ton of easy plays to make that would have won the game and we didn't. We were outplayed only in that we played worse. There were times Denver tried to give it to us and we refused the gift. This wasn't about how good Denver is, it was about how mediocre we are.

we were outplayed, the offense had plenty of chances to put it away but failed. props to the broncos. now it's time to prepare for the titans

I think the Jets and the Broncos are good football teams but we definitely should have won todays game. No one can debate that. They gave us too many chances to win today, 2 penalties on 4th down giving us 1st downs..us not scoring in the 2nd half...us having the ball twice in the last 5 minutes and not scoring. That is just uncharacteristic of Patriot teams that we know. We always get the job done in the end and today we just didnt do that. Its only week 5 and we're 3-2 and have lost to 2 teams that have 1 loss combined. We will most likely be 5-2 going into the bye week and rest up and be ready to go the rest of the season. I have not lost faith in this team and I really like this team. Our defense is really fun to watch, very young and very fast.

Re: Credit

We didn't have any receivers with nothing but green in front of them get hit in the ankles by the ball against the Jets. I feel like the Jets made their own luck, and we made the Broncos' luck.

That, and Dean Pees...

Yeah Kyle Orton is Johnny Unitas.

Please, give me a break, the donkeys suck. We pissed this game away.

Re: Credit

Yes, the Jesters and Broncos played well enough to win, and the Pats are going through a transition, but I'm only willing to grant the Jesters and Broncos made the a couple more plays when they were needed...and the Pats failed to make the critical plays when they were needed. Tonight, a missed FG, some missed passes in the second half... :confused2:

Re: Credit

I'll give credit to them for the wins, the Jets were clearly superior on the day, and I think us and the Broncos were pretty even but they made the plays when it mattered and we didn't, but I'm not going to say they are better teams than the Pats. No way. Don't believe that for a second.

bull****,

both of our losses came b/c they refs were reluctant to call Pass Interference at the last or second to last play of the game

in the jets it was defensive pass interfere, in this game it was offensive pass interference on brandon marshall (which may i add, would have pushed them back enough to have to make them punt)

The refs did not have anything to do with our 2 losses...

I'm not sure about the Jets game, but the refs definitely screwed us over multiple times today. It made a difference, but either way we should of won the game even with the bad calls going against us.

Hahaha, unbelievable. There were calls against both teams. I love how everyone that loses to Denver still refuses to give them credit.

They absolutely deserve credit. It really doesn't matter what another fan says about it. Denver's record speaks for itself.

Yeah, that would-be INT in the endzone in overtime wouldn't have changed anything. Just a good thing they got taunting under control, there's no room for that. Talking trash rarely happens and can seriously hurt the other team's chances of winning.

OTOH missing a wide-open Moss (as well as many other throws) is Brady's fault. We play badly, Denver plays well, reveals an offense that is going to go out-of-style very quickly and gets some crucial calls and they squeek by. I continue to hate the OT rules, but am seeing consistent improvement by the Pats. Not really worried about the team.
