If the Jets lose tomorrow.

It's still all about the division for now.

Go Fins!:ugh:

Here's to hoping Taylor, Porter, and Wake make Sanchez's life a living hell! :eat3:

Thanks. I was fine until you reminded me that I'm going to be forced to root for the Dolphins tomorrow.

:)

it's not rooting for the dolphins, it's hoping our buddies in NY continue the fine tradition of jets football..

I love that PatJew is on the other side of the world and comes on long after the dust clears with his postive attitude and sets us up for a good day the day after a loss and hopefully a productive week.

Gotta love that guy over in China :youtheman:

Yeah ... well tomorrow comes faster for him ... he can look at things tomorrow before we can. :rolleyes2::rolleyes2::rolleyes2:

I'm looking forward to this game. What is the over under on drops between Braylon Edwards and Teddy Ginn?

I'm just happy to have this place to come to. :D

That is true. Better be nice or I won't tell you tomorrow's lottery numbers.

Honestly, I was pretty upset after the game. It hit me harder than the Jets loss for some weird reason. I guess because I'm not used to these Pats losing this kind of game. I was also irked that I got up at 4 AM to watch that. But... about an hour ago I got over it and now I'm ready to move on and root against some Jets.

No way the Dolphins win. If the Patriots offense does not score more will it really matter? If the Patriots offense scores like they are capable of it will not matter what other teams do.

First, I disagree that the Dolphins have no chance of winning. Maybe it's not at all assured, but the Jets are overrated (IMO) and it's their second long road trip in a week. This game can go either way.

I agree that if the Pats score a ton of points every game and win out then no one else's games will matter. But that will not happen every week, the immediate goal is still the division, and tomorrow's game is very important for the YTD standings.

Re: What will make today's result more palatable:

I think Cotchery is out, and Stuckey is gone. Edwards has to learn the playbook. Not much in the way of receivers on duty for them tonight.

Its very possible that the fins manage to take them out tonight.

Re: What will make today's result more palatable:

This thread makes me happy :americaflag: I hope the dolphins win too. but im a homer =/. i think they really have a chance since the colts embarrassed them at home, fortunately the jets don't have the fire power that the colts do.

If the entire officiating crew is fined, fired and birched.

Well said, Patjew, as always.

A tie for the division lead makes for a sunnier disposition. I will be backing the Fish in the game tonight.

Palatable!!!!!!!!!!

it's official...the Manchurian Menace will heretofore be referred to as "Patjew - Knower Of Things"

It was nice to see the Jets lose and better to see T-Rex edge in on throwing his defense under the bus.

I hate to admit it, but I really enjoyed that game. Those Dolphins look for real to me and their coach is pretty like-able. I also think non-Pats games are more fun/relaxing to watch (except for blow-out wins, though it's been a while).

Happy times indeed.
