that is what happened last year.. 2007 is not walking through that door anymore... we are the 01 Pats again... we need to worry about ourselves.. We right now are not good enough to win the AFC East..

We could easly be -GASP - 0-5... SERIOUSLY..

You want to argue the Falcons game , go ahead..

But this team is avg right now.. we blow a 10 point lead to Denver, who will admit is better than we thought..

This defense sorry is not ever going to win us a championship...

Tom Brady is still a great Qb, but the coaching staff , Bill O Brien, and the recievers Belichick put around him, ( Sam Aiken??? ) are weak.. Why was Kelly Washington never used here??? Jabar Gaffney proved he is a goood third reciever today..

Brady may have missed some throws, but the play calling in the end was suspect... Belichick and Brady both better step up there games, or we will be talking draft by Dec... Lets take care of our buisness, dont want to here about the colts losing tonight, or the jets losing manana.. Win the games we are suppose to , and today we were and should have won today..

You're right. Sadly I'm probably going to be one of the few people that is going to agree with you.

All I'm going to say is that we're very lucky to be 3-2.

Thanks, but god forbid we say bad things about the defense around here.. Thanks again..

I don't think the Broncos are that good. Rather, the Pats aren't as good as we think they are.

Their offense won't either.

Letting Gaffney and Washington go was a mistake. Edelman might be good someday, but I'd rather have Gaffney. The signing of Galloway was a huge mistake. However, you get what you pay for when signing a 38 year old receiver. By the way, did he get cut yet?

What is up with the play actions under center on 3rd and longs? Especially coming from a team that known to pass more than run.

Not the way they called that second half..

Well it goes to show that Mcdaniels was a good coach here for us, Bill O Brien, is not so far..

*shrug* I still think this is a rare situation in New England where the team's talent surpasses the coaching staff's competence. The players are at least as good as we thought they were and they are being bogged down by (at best) mediocre play calling.

The only question mark is Brady, and frankly all the people who are whining about him don't know what the hell they're talking about. It's just about impossible to gauge a player's effectiveness in the aftermath of a major injury. Give it a couple more weeks.

Actually, another question mark may be the running game. With Taylor gone, Morris needs to once again shrug off age and kick ass, and he didn't look as hardcore today as he normally does. Maroney must step up.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and we DESPERATELY need a real fullback. Calling draw after draw out of the shotgun is going to result in a wretched performance in the playoffs. I wish we still had Heath Evans. He was a phenomenal player.

I disagree - I wouldn't fire Belichick & Co. over this one loss just yet

Agreed - as bad as he's been, he has continued to improve. As I said in another thread if he's still overthrowing people in week 12 I'll join the camp who is in the "I'm worried" group.

I agree - and I think we saw some good moments from Maroney this week. Let's face it, Belichick continues to play him because he believes he can contribute, and he won't get better unless he starts to get his confidence back.

This is about the one thing I completely agree with - Evans was a solid FB and it shows down in New Orleans. That's what happens in Free agency, and sometimes you can't keep everyone.

I never thought it would be this difficult to replace Gaffney. Let's hope Galloway studied up on the play book these last few weeks.

The offensive scheme is poor, I know Taylor inj has hampered the team, but Morris ran hard at first.. The light inj had the coaching staff scared, for what i have no idea... Brady missed Welker in the 4th ok, and Moss twice, but the problem has been for the longest time the defensive scheme... When Randy Moss is tied for ints and is not leading the team for Td's something is wrong..

I think Galloway is done this week..
