Had we won today; we would have had the tie breaker over both the Ravens and Denver. We all remember last year.
Anything can still happen but I see 7 teams in the playoff race. I don't think the Ravens will be there since we have the tie breaker with them if needed and they seem to be a bit overrated. They will need to beat Pitts twice to win the division and than win at Cinn. I don't see it happening.

Maybe we go back to Denver in the playoffs and win this time.

1 Indy- is a shoot in in their division. We need the win against them more than they do when we play.

2 Pats Need to beat the Rats
3 Rats- Hate to say it but will be in the race

4 Pitts should win this
5 Bengals- Are they for real? That game they lost to Denver may hurt

6 Denver- We should hope the win the west
7 Chargers- Always seem to get hot in the 2nd half

Barring something disasterous by the Broncos or miraculous by San Diego - I'd be surprised if Denver didn't win it considering how well they're playing. Truthfully I'm more worried about the division loss to the Jets. I think it's going to be a tough year in this division and if they're going to have a chance at winning the East it looks like they're going to have a battle on their hands with the Jets - who so far look to be as though they're going to be a pain in the &*@ this season.

Well; if we lose the rematch with the Jets I think the division is lost and maybe the playoffs too.
We can only hope the offense gets it together in the next few weeks.

Oh its just 1 game , dont worry about it... :D

Yeah right... we should not even breath playoffs till christmas and that is is we are allowed to be a part of that discussion... So far this not a playoff team...

This hurt the Chargers more than anything else. I think they've been eliminated from the playoff picture!

Still way too early to start worrying about this. A lot of football is still left to play.

Agreed. Think back to 2002 and 2006.

In 02 they looked so dominant and then just fell into mediocrity. The offense was unstoppable, the defense was flying all over. Then, like someone threw a switch, they were a sub 500 team for most of the remainder of the season. We all had booked our second straight Super Bow after 3 games.

In 06 this was a very uneven team (performance-wise) and they were shutout 21-0 in Miami in December. They played some close games vs week competition along the way and then in mid-late December they ran through a stretch of wins vs Houston, at Jacksonville, and vs Tennessee. They were moments away from the Super Bowl when it was all said and done. A lot went right over those five straight wins before folding in Indy.

I guess the lesson is to not make any bold predictions one way or another after game 5 or in some instances, game 15. Let the whole season playout and see where the boys are at.

nonsense! let's worry about the Titans. this other stuff is crazy, will play itself out over the next three months and is largely out of our control.

being ready to beat the Titans is, however, within our control.

if the Patriots win their next 11 games, I think they will squeeze in at 14-2. That is basically whats in their control. Thats all I care about.

In all seriousness, I dread going to Indy. I would rather go and blow up the Broncos and show them up as huge overachievers but Manning on turf scares me.

lets take 1 game at a time, but this one just hurts becaue we are the better team...

The Jets and Broncos will fade down the stretch. I question the Bengals as well, and the Ravens have already fallen back down to earth.

There is no one in this conference that we should be afraid of other than Indy.

I don't understand the nickname, but i think you are refering to the jets. (which to me a jet has nothing to do with a rat) But we will see tommorow about the jets, i think they are over rated just like buffalo was until week 6 last year.

Rats = Jets because of Eric Mangina and Spygate.

You guys will be fine. You will right the ship. The jets are not as good as people think. They will faulter down the stretch.

I guess you've never seen a 17 ton supersonic flying rat before. They're very jet-like.
