Please, PLEASE, post something positive! :D

Well it was good to see Mayo back in action. And it was good to see Welker didn't break his back in half after defender speared his helmet into Welker's back. And our punter is a superb actor.

Next week will be THE statement game when we crush the Titans. Why do I say that? Because the team after this tragic loss will have every reason why to remind everyone that the Patriots Of New England are far from dead and the Titans will be made an example of.

Denver is the albatross around the Pats' neck. The good news? At least they're not in our division!

Players showed a lot of pride at the end of regulation. The defense came up with a huge stop when they were stuck with a short field, despite being exhausted from already playing 65 plays. Also, props to Wilfork for that huge goaline stop.

The Pats played well in the first half against a good team.

The Pats' schedule the rest of the way is cake (only three good teams left on the schedule).

Brady will get better.

Mayo will get healthier.

The defense before today has been playing great and we can think today was just an setback that will be corrected.

We do have a good core of newer players who should grow into roles.

Welker is back and playing as good as ever.

The team is still in the process of learning how to win. D only gave up 17 points in regulation (yeah, I know, many qualifiers that need not be dug up here). They have Titans and Bucs and a bye coming up.

Always tough to lose a game like this, especially when they couldn't take advantage of the few breaks they got.

It is only one loss.....

Exactly

The football gods have never been kind to this team in that stadium. Not to mention that Denver made a few key plays at the end and managed to come away with the win. Chalk it up to that and move on.

I don't know this for 100% sure, but I would bet the Patriots have had the toughest schedule in the NFL to date. It is going to get easier. They've lost 2 close and tough road games, which I don't think is anything to be ashemed of.

You guys have Tom Brady and Bill B....3 rings in the past decade...New England will be there come playoff time ready to make another deep run...you guys have been blessed with the football you've been able to watch the past few years..

Positives ok lets go..

We cant win a game if wes welker is hurt...

We need to hold offense to a 99 yard drives, because 98 yards is considered red zone offense...

We need Matt Light, because we get conservative if he is out of the game..

We better get Junior seau back in a hurry because Adalius Thomas or Derrick Burgess are not the answer...

Any thing else.... Oh that is right you are the guy who rather have Matt Cassel than Tom Brady... NEXT....

I still like this defense a lot and they will get BETTER every game. They will be a force by the end of the year.

1- The defense has been playing well - it is not our weak link.

2- Our O-Line has also been playing well. We could run better I think if we ran more but while Brady is here that's not going to happen.

3- Wes Welker is the man - but we suck without him.

4- At 3-2 i think we are doing about as well as can be expected.
A win next game puts us at 4-2 which translates to 10-6 or 11-5.

5- The offense now will feel the pressure to open the playbook - that will be a good thing.

It is 1 loss to a non division team. Maybe it will even help us in the end of the season/playoffs when we play in some tight games that come down to the end and OT

It's only one game

Jerod Mayo

Pats played well against a very good defense

Sammy Morris

Titans are nowhere near as good as we thought they were before the season started.

And they'll be playing on the road with a short week to prepare.

Against a team that will be looking to avenge a loss.

TBC

Bodden and Springs

I agree - the offense didn't score when they had all their opportunities and will obviously get better as the season goes on. I agree they're not playoff ready yet, and am glad it's October and not December. Don't forget - this is mostly a brand new group defensively and they've played fairly well to this point - and I expect they'll continue to improve.

Offensively we're just going to have to deal with the fact that Brady needs to continue to get his feet under him and get the throws down. He overthrew Moss in the endzone and likely missed a TD when he threw the ball into Welker's feet. We're going to have to be patient guys - it's just that simple.

Tomorrow is another day.

and next Sunday there will be another game and most of us will be right there watching it

All is good this game is gone

Positive thought: Our coordinators make our team look twice as bad as it actually is.
