Matt Light vs. Elvis Dumervil

i think this is the key matchup of this game. considering how james harrison a similar type player manhandled light last yr and basically turned the game in the steelers favor , i think this is main matchup. the cold/rain/snow might help slow the pass rush down but i hope light performs better today.

Better?? Lets start another ad infinitum discussion about the value of Matt Light... without regard, pretty confident that BB & the braintrust have a plan in place.

Better than the only tackle to play against Dumervil without much help, Joe Thomas of Cleveland, who gave up 4 sacks.

They'll throw in Baker & maybe even Matthews... maybe draws and screens with Faulk. I'm not quite Dwight Freeney of mid-decade scared here. He may very well get a sack, maybe even two - but I think BB and his friends will have something in place to control this guy who was invisible until this year and got most of his sacks in one day against a sucky team.

He's going to get help, I believe. If he doesn't then I hope this isn't the day that Light picks to have one of his stinker games as Brady will get killed. Even though I have my concerns about Light's consistency, I think he will do a good enough job on Dumervil, as will Brady who will look to burn Dumervil with a screen or two if he comes in on the blitz.

No it wouldn't. If we put Seabass out there, we might as well sit Brady to avoid injury. Seabass is still way too raw to play.

Matt Light and the line had a rough 1st game ... they have been spectacular since then. I'm not worried at all about Matt Light today - he is playing very well and in unison with Mankins.
