This is ridiculous. Now he is crying to the league about it. The thing that amazes me is that week after week we see players and coaches crying about this and that, and its Brady, Belichick and the Pats who are the so called "cry babies". Look at week 1 vs. the Bills and the 2 extremely questionable roughing the passer calls made against Wilfork and Thomas. Did they cry about it. Did they compain to the refs. No. They dealt with it, sucked it up and won the game. And I am quite sure if one was to go over the tapes of the Bills and Jets game they would find a few questionable non roughing the passer calls against Brady, with the beating he took.

Ravens question officiating
Harbaugh: Brady got preferential treatment

FOXBOROUGH - Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said yesterday he planned to submit film to the NFL office in New York of what he believes were questionable calls in the Ravens’ 27-21 loss to the Patriots Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

Harbaugh suggested Patriots quarterback Tom Brady got preferential treatment from the officiating crew over his own quarterback, Joe Flacco.

The Ravens were penalized twice for roughing the passer, each one helping set up a New England touchdown in the first half. The first went against lineman Haloti Ngata (for contact to the head), and the second went against linebacker Terrell Suggs (for contact to the knees).

The Patriots were credited with 10 quarterback hits and a pair of sacks, both by Mike Wright, who was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness for a helmet-to-helmet blow on Flacco. Harbaugh said Flacco “got hit [six] different times hard, and there was one call.’’

“Tom didn’t get hit five times,’’ said Harbaugh. “We want him to be hit more than he was hit, but when he did sort of get hit, it was called. That goes to the credibility of the whole thing.’’

The officiating crew, led by referee Ron Winter, called 14 penalties for 126 yards. The Ravens had nine penalties for 85 yards, including a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty against Harbaugh with 13:33 left in the third quarter. The Patriots were called for five penalties for 41 yards.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick acknowledged yesterday he had apprised his team that the officials working Sunday had a reputation for calling a tight game.

“I think the writing’s on the wall there, that they call them pretty tight,’’ Belichick said. “Maybe every game they happen to have there are just more penalties, I don’t know. To basically be the top penalty-calling crew over the last three years tells me the game is going to be [called] tight. So yeah, I did mention that to the team and they did call it tight.’’

Linebacker Ray Lewis didn’t hold back after the loss. “It’s embarrassing to the game,’’ he said. “Did that win or lose the game? No, but it got them 14 points. A personal foul and he isn’t even touched. He’s a man. They can be hit, just like us. We stop them and then you look back and see a flag or a personal foul and Tom Brady is laughing. It wasn’t no personal foul if he’s still smiling.’’

Harbaugh is increasingly getting to be as much of an as$hole as Rex Ryan

The current Ravens are as big, if not bigger, crybabies than the 2006 Chargers team... and those guys were wearing diapers.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Hopefully the league will note that their first TD should have been called back due to a penalty which the refs did not call.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

What's the point? It's not going to change anything. Just move on!

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

A coach like Harbaugh make me really really appreciate a real man coach
like Bill Belichick. As PATs Fans ...we are truely blessed!

Can you believe this guy???:confused::confused::confused:

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Does he think that the NFL does not already have the tapes??? What a dumbass, move on you have a game this week... maybe the Baltithug mentality is becoming part of his personna...

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Blah blah blah... there is always something. What a joke.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

I have had enough of these crybabies. Let them go to their respective moms and moan.

Is there a thread on the Bronco's game score prediction yet?

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Yes, I'm sure the league will be quick to say they screwed up. Maybe they'll even change the result! :rolleyes:Whatever.

The Ravens suck and I hate them.

Can you explain what happened again? or anybody?

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Harbaugh is still pissed off about Super Bowl 39...holds a grudge

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

i love it! the league will look at the tapes and suspend Suggs for 4 games. hahahaha.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

You do realize that every team just about every week sends video of plays that they felt were either bad calls or bad non-calls to the league. They simply ask for an explanation. This is common throughout the league.

BB himself has addressed it several times, as have many other coaches during press conferences.

Good for John Harbaugh (sp?)

He has every right to be upset with those calls. It was a terribly called game. Hope this only helps the case of rewording a ton of rules.

Now that would define irony.....LOL

This is nuts....he is wasting his time with yet another witch hunt with Belicheck and the Patriots.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Did anyone else think that Aiken made that catch in the first quarter? He had control of the ball, took two steps and the ball only came out once he was down. It was called incomplete. I think if it was challenged that it would have been reversed. A few plays later, a Ravens receiver slides out of bounds with the ball juggling on his stomach. He did not have control as he slid out of bounds. Should have been called incomplete but was called complete. If Harbaugh is going to send tapes to the league, he shouldn't cherry pick which ones he sends. there are a lot of plays that were bad.

The thing that worries me is that all this complaining is going to put Brady in harms way. After Polian complained to the league about the Patriots DBs getting too physical, they started calling more penalties on the Patriots for inteference, alot of them very ticky-tack. Now, I'm worried that the officials will let some of the hits on Brady go to prove that they aren't protecting Brady.

from now on they're the Baltimore Ravennes.

Re: Harbaugh to send tapes of NE game to NFL office.

Well, it gets worse for Harbaugh and his Ravens...they actually have another game to play next week.
