I'm looking at the schedule and I'm realizing that we could be 7-1 by the time Indy comes to town. I mean look at it:

Denver isn't that great. A lucky win vs Cincy, and wins vs Cleveland and Oakland. Plus they're currently losing 10-7.

Tennessee and Tampa are both awful 0-4 teams.

Bye week

Miami is the same story as Tampa/Tenn. They're just awful.

Then Indy comes to town and we have momentum.

pats should win against denver, tenn, TB and dolphins. that would take us to 7-1 going into a tough 3 week period against the colts, jets, saints. i really think we can beat the jets but the colts and saints look tough. the schedule then rounds out against 5 winnable teams. 13-3 at worst plus we have a tie breaker against Baltimore fi that ever comes into play.

Don't the Patriots GO to Indianapolis this year?

Fixed your post for you ;)lol Yeah I think we should go between 15-1:D-12-4.

No they finally come here, well that's what I read.

Edit- My mistake I read Miami coming here, not Indy

Patience, grasshopper. One game at a time. Denver will be at worst 3-1 and tied for the division lead when we face them. We've historically struggled at Mile High. They have a good defense so far. Don't take that game lightly, or a Tennessee team that's struggling after finishing 13-3 last year.

If we're 6-1 then I will feel we have a good chance to be 7-1 before playing the Colts (in Indy, BTW).

I am watching the Donkies now. They aren't great but they are not that bad.
Josh has them playing well and if given time I believe can make them a winner. Wish he went to the Chiefs as I hate the Donkies but we should still win by 10 pts.

Tennessee is still a formidable opponent.

But, that was against Shannahan in Denver, not McDaniels & Co. Like I said, Denver isn't as great as they appear. They got extremely lucky against the Bengals. Then they faced the Raiders and Browns. We just beat Baltimore and will be riding that momentum all they way to and through Denver.

Edit: Forgot to mention Tennessee. They just got blown out by the Jags. Yeah, there's NO chance we lose to them.

On any given Sunday... take nothing for granted.

Not to mention that it's never a great thing to see your QB go against his former OC. How many guys know Brady's game as well as McDaniels does? I expect that the Pats will win handily, but I'm prepared for anything.

But remember that we have a better running game than we did last year. That's not saying much, but still...

13-3. Losses @ Indy and @ NO

"13-3. Losses @ Indy and @ NO"

You may be right BUT; this defense is going to get better every week imo.

i say we finish out 15-1....

13-3. Losses @ Indy and @ NO

IF we go into Indy 7-1 then I think 13-3 or even 14-2 is quite possible. Indy-NY-NO is our tough stretch. Our last 5 games are very winnable, which would give us 12 wins.

0-3 during that difficult stretch makes us a likely 12-4. 3-0 makes us a possible 15-1. I think it will be hard to go 3-0 in those 3 consecutive games, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us win 2 out of 3.

But again, one win at a time. We were 2-0 last year and looking good (despite the loss of Brady) when we got blown out by the Dolphins (1-15 the previous year and 0-2 to start the 2008 season). Never take anything for granted.

I'm making a bold prediction and saying that we beat Indy.

I could see it happening as well. We could also lay an egg one week and lose to a team we should beat, so I am sticking with 13-3.
