OT: Ugliest uniform

Which uniforms from Sunday looked worse. Was it the Texans, cherry red popsicle look? Or was it the lime green lollipop jerseys of the Seahawks. The Seahawks jerseys just seemed to clash with the rest of their color scheme. But I have always hated the single color uniforms. Unless it is white pants with a white jersey, matching colors just does not work. I remember when the Patriots tried the Blue jerseys with blue pants. It looked terrible. We also lost both games that they tried it, so I don't think they will do it again.

I saw the Seahawks green jersey and thought it was HORRIBLE, and still do.

I know they didn't wear them yesterday, but Cleveland's home jersey is the worst in the NFL.

It wasn't the jersey. It was wearing them with matching pants.

I'd say the Seahawks should retire those lime greens. I think I remember a previous version of the NYJ Titans throwbacks being even worse than this year's.

Also I'm not a fan of this look with the bright yellow helmet.

The Seahawks uni yesterday was by far the worst! It looked like they put on neon pinnies to take control of the traffic exiting the stadium after the game. Part of cutting costs due to the economy.

I think the new uniforms are a vast improvement over the old (not the neon ones, which are hideous). Do we REALLY need another Silver Helmet/Blue Jersey/Silver Pants combination? Patriots, Cowboys, Lions AND Seahawks?

I Think that they should just stay with a team-specific look. Their new Blue-Blue one is at least unique. When I glance at my HDTV, I know instantly that it's the Seahawks. The same cannot be said for some teams.

This massive uniform changing is ridiculous. Every marketer trying to sell us ANOTHER crappy jersey. Ugh.

Yes, the Seahawks lime green jerseys should be banned from the NFL. They look like an arena league team. In addition, I'm not a fan of the color on color look ala Seahawks, Titans, Broncos, Bills, etc. blue jerseys and blue pants. It's seems as though almost every team is doing that look and it's extremely annoying. And yes, the Texans red on red looked absolutely hideous!

The Jets have the ugliest throw backs. The worst looking coach, however, was Jeff Fisher. He looked like he borrowed his Grandma's powder blue cardigan to wear on the side line. Someone should have stopped the man before he got out of the tunnel!

I like the lime green Seattle stuff too. The throwbacks were a bit much, but I like it when their players wear that color gloves or socks.

Without a doubt, the 'Hawks' lime-green jerseys are the worst. The Texans' outfits didn't look bad, they just didn't look like NFL uniforms IMHO, more like a basketball team's warm-ups.

As for the Seahawks, I don't think they ever should have changed to the unis they have now. I liked their old look, as seen below:

Usually I'm one to say "change is good" when it comes to these things. Packers fans, for example, throw a hissy fit whenever the topic of making even the slightest alteration to the team's uniform comes up. But the 'Hawks' current look looks lousy, and the alternate they wore Sunday was even worse.

That thing is oddly bad, worse than the Tampa Bay orange and cream jerseys of old.

No way in hell they will ever go back to their old jerseys and colors- too many bad years, too many bad memories of medicoracy and just getting over .500 yet missing out on the playoffs. Nostalgia for the past is one thing, but when the past is missing the playoffs for a decade and having just one winning season during that run it's something they can do without.

Agreed. I've always thought those Hawks' uniforms were far superior to what they wear now. I find their current uniforms pretty drab.
