They could play us in Nov winless. We always have a hard time with them and I hate to see them coming in here with this their SB game. Let them get their win against the Bills. Wonder why their Jets games are so close.
I don't see them making the playoffs this year

I would never root for the Dolphins / Jets. If the Patriot playoff season depends on one of those teams to win like last year, we don't deserve to be there. I can root for the Bills out of pity. But all of that is just me personally, I just hate the Dolphins and Jets with a passion.

I can understand your reasoning, but I think Miami will most likely play us like their "Superbowl" as you say, anyway. They always seem to get up for us, regardless of their record.

Therefore, I expect tougher games against MIA then most here will probably expect, and I could never root for them except against the Jets.

I'm with the consensus here. The only - only - reason that would make me pull for the Deadfish is so that they have some momentum vs. the J-E-S-T the following week.

The trick is to 'root against' - I've never had trouble suspending my Fishy hatred for the duration of two games a year...

My dislike of the Phins/Tuna is at least tempered. I could root for them if it benefitted the Pats. Although seeing Parcells flee in disgrace would be very rewarding.

My deep rooted hate of all things Jets is at an admittedly unhealthy level...and always has been.
