Ravens "prepping" for Randy Moss

Decent read, though I doubt the focus will be more on Moss. My guess is they'll bring the house and try to disrupt TB. They probably saw comfortable TB making throws against Atlanta and saw uncomfortable TB against Jests. I would think Welker is a must for game for those quick outs. I don't know why the Ravens would bother with this Moss guy. I read last week that Moss is a lazy player who dogs it most of the time. The writer said he charted the plays, so I have to believe its true. I also read where he is dogging it to get out of NE to play with Brett Farve in Minnesota. It also must be true because it was on a blog funded by NBC, and THEY wouldn't lie to me......would they??????

I agree about Welker. I think the short passing game is key for the Pats. Though I also see them going over the top on the Baltimore secondary to keep them honest, and because it will be there for the taking.

He uncharacteristically committed two of them himself. And they were clearly related to the real issue throughout, pressure. Something Rodney hit the nail on as the one critical difference between the JETS and Falcons games...

I don't recall hearing what Bruschi had to say, but I would guess it was in regards to penalties putting the Pats offense into undesirable down-and-distance situations. That results in very predictable play calling, which results in the opposing defense being able to rush the quarterback without having to honor the running game. The chances of a successful play for the offense drop dramatically as the quarterback has less time to throw the ball while at the same time the receivers are running longer routes. The end result being Brady, or any quarterback, would be less comfortable and unable to get in a rhythm with those circumstances due to the constant 3rd and 20's he was facing.
