Ok, I have no idea what Facebook is all about. I've heard about it but have no clue why people join.

If you want the opportunity to stalk people you haven't talked to in years, Facebook is your best friend.

Or hear from people who never talked to you in high school but all of a sudden 15+ years later NOW want to be your friend. Definitely a bit odd in that regard. I've found it is really a good way to keep in touch with relatives, cousins, etc. though - especially when you're someone like me and you work all the time and have no time to call/visit people. Although it's also made me realize how boring I am - I don't have anything interesting to post in my updates so I'm more of a lurker

I use it to keep in touch with my son, who is overseas in the Army, and used it the same way with my oldest daughter while she was away in college. Also have a couple friends that I can share pix, etc, with rather than mail them all over the country.

I use MySpace as well. I actually like MySpace better, because of the ability to keep blog entries, more pics, music, etc. Plus, I think it's a better-looking site with the various things you can do with it, but Facebook's all the rage now.
