Here is the statement:“On Sunday, September 27, 2009, the North [...]

This story gets a bit bizarre...I thought it was odd...but in a way it makes sense...he didn't have a cell he could call police?? So run all the way down to Cumbies?? and get a groin pull?? Odd...but..sometimes truth is stranger than fiction..

Jeez. You'd think a professional athlete like him would know the importance of a proper warmup before intense physical activity.

Too weird/silly to make up, IMO.

Strange story.

It Is What It Is Police comment on incident involving Wilhite

“On Sunday, September 27, 2009 the North Attleboro Police responded to the Cumberland Farms store in the Attleboro Falls area of town, after receiving a call from Jonathan Wilhite concerning suspicious activity. Mr. Wilhite stated that 2 subjects were in his parking lot when he arrived home, and one approached him on foot and yelled at him.

I suspect we haven't heard the whole story yet.

An adrenaline fueled sprint could make anyone pull a muscle.

I wish Borges and Tomase would quit dropping in on players' homes unannounced. It's just not the right way to score an interview.

It was Ryan and Tannenbaum tampering.

bad news...... either he is using drugs or down in debt on something else.... gambling/ more drugs etc....

Too weird. Sound like somebody sent muscle to intimidate and or collect.

If that were the case why did he call the police?

Very bizarre, how does an NFL CB get a groin pull running away from two guys? Who were the two guys, Vick and Stallworth?

Maybe they had a gun with them. Or a cheetah.

Because he lacks the finely tuned body that a lifetime of coffee annd doughnuts provides us law enforcement types!!!!!

What he didn't have a cell phone?
