Check it out...a statistical anomaly. After week 3 results, the Patriots next 10 games are against either undefeated or winless teams. Denver is the biggest undefeated surprise while Tenn, Miami, and Carolina have sucked worse than originally thought.

Sep 14 Buffalo Won 25-24
Sep 20 @N.Y. Jets Lost 9-16
Sep 27 Atlanta Won 26-10

Oct 4 Baltimore 3-0
Oct 11 @Denver 3-0
Oct 18 Tennessee 0-3
Oct 25 @Tampa Bay 0-3
Week 8 BYE
Nov 8 Miami 0-3
Nov 15 @Indianapolis 3-0
Nov 22 N.Y. Jets 3-0
Nov 30 @New Orleans 3-0
Dec 6 @Miami 0-3
Dec 13 Carolina 0-3
Dec 20 @Buffalo 1-2
Dec 27 Jacksonville 1-2
Jan 3 @Houston 1-2

My "NEW" Patriots prediction 12-4 losing at Indy and New Orleans. I threw in another loss, because anything can happen on a given weekend....But it won't be against the Jets.

Interesting thread.

At this point, Miami, Buffalo, Carolina, Houston, Tennessee, Tampa Bay & Jacksonville all look much easier games than we thought they would be.

Also at this point, NYJ, Denver & Baltimore all seem like somewhat tougher games than we'd anticipated.

Of course, its still very early.

I think the upcoming game will be one of our toughest all year, hopefully we get out with a win, and then can steamroll a few teams before facing Indy/NYJ/NO.

It's exciting that the schedule gets decidedly tougher in NE's historically best months, Nov-Dec. I think there are a lot of factors, but the big one is coaching. When we get back from the Bye there are 8 weeks of film on our upcoming opponents.

Indy could go either way - two great QB's going head-to-head, but I still say we beat the Ravens and Saints and sweep the fish, we're watching Playoff Football.

If the Pats get by the Ravens, there's an excellent chance to get to the bye 6-1. But Ravens game will be a test. Flacco is the real deal and our secondary will have to play well so we can get some coverage sacks.

Agreed. That said, Matt Ryan is also the real deal. He's a legitimately good QB.

True and I thought the D played very well in the second half. But those times he was flushed from the pocket and had to throw on the run to his right were a result of great coverage by the DBs. The Pats are still not getting a good pass rush. This game would be a good one for Derrick Burgess to show us something.

I like the schedule, with a relatively soft last five games.
