Freeman @ CBS: Moss is Doggin' It Again

now he has an update
UPDATE: In fairness to Moss, he was dealing with a back injury that, as one source told us, left him "really struggling" and in a "ton of pain." That said, we're also told that there were indications last year that Moss was taking plays off, primarily in the immediate wake of quarterback Tom Brady's season-ending knee injury.
so to justify his rumor he is going back to last yr ...wow...

Realistically, I think we did see him turn sour for a game or two last year, but by the end of the season he was a great leader on the team and I think that was a good thing for him coming into this year.

Yes, the San Diego game was a lowlight....

maybe ,maybe not but that iisnt an escape route for florio to publish a whole blog about moss dogging it to play with favre and the offer this lame excuse that "we were told".
Its clear , he doesnt watch games,he just goes by what freeman wrote.
Seeing the comments on the blog ,lot of people registered to blast him so i guess he acheived what he set out to do-more hits.

Randy Moss was the best player on the field for either team on Sunday.

Matt Light surprisingly was the best player IMO,Abraham was a no factor all game.

I have been a long time lurker here, I have seen some stupid articles posted before but this takes the cake.
He clearly wrote that to get a reaction and traffic to his site.
It is stupid, badly researched. Massive massive fail.

:welcome:

Gunnails! Are you feeling friendly again? ;)

This clown is an idiot. I just read Moss had a back injury, but still played (and played well I might add). He was hurting so bad after the game that he had trouble clothing himself..

Yes, sometimes beer and hitting the submit button doesen't work out.

Appologies to all that I may have offended.

I had to register and post there when they first put it up. Dumbest thing I've read in awhile.

This reminds me of that scene in the movie "Airplane" when the little kid says to Kareem, "I think your great, but my Dad says you dog it", and Kareem, I mean Roger Murdouch grabs the kid and says" Listen kid, tell your old man to carry Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 40 minutes and see how he feels".

I don't care how well conditioned you are, there is no way you can run 40-60 yards sprints for 60-70 offensive plays, it can't be done. What Moss does it pick his spots, where he knows he can get his rest. The guy is out there for every snap, his mere presence alone changes the defense, what does Moss have 26 catches in 3 games, is anyone else even close to that number?

Allllrighty then.

And Florio picking this up and running with it is a bit of a surprise to me, even considering his usual journalistic antics. He needs to go back to slamming Farve or something, much more entertaining. A recent jibe after "injury-gate" saying that the Vikes will be listing Farve on every injury report for every possible thing, including an injury to his "taint" comes to mind. Now that's some good stuff! :D

off topic ,but what happened before ?

Yeah, sure. BB will let Moss go to a team coached by Brad Childress. Sure. . . . .

Look at how hard Moss is running over an entire game. He sprints probably several miles over the course of a game.

He clearly knows how to pick his spots. He was the Pats offensive MVP yesterday, and leads the league in catches.

There is no rationalizing the article. Simply one of the dumbest, laziest articles written in the past several years. Freeman is a writer who DOGS it every time he goes to work.

He's in the lead by 3 receptions, ahead of Steve Smith at 23.

About 8 PBRs, I was in the Game Ball thread and feeling high on the Jets win and there potential, and of course there was some smack flying around and I got on my high horse and started slinging the smack back, in a rather mean spirited fashion.

I gave myself a 5 day timeout, came back to find the Mods had taken note of my rant, made a few apologies, and am ready to move on.

Part of the problem being after 1500 posts I start to feel some ownership of the board, and need to keep in mind that this is not my house, I am a guest, if I want to rag on Pat fans, I should do it on my home board(JI).

That's it.
