Hello to all. Just wanted to share something with you. My son is presently studying in Boston and like his dad,,,a huge Patriots fan. Today is his first ever game he will watch live against the Falcons. I am so excited for him and its Live here in Bahrain on FOX sports.
He thinks it might be a shoot out with the Pats winning 35 - 32 !! He still believes that we can win it all this year. So keep the faith. Better things still to come from this team.
All the best. GO PATS. Abdul.

I hope your son is correct. Enjoy the game (despite the rain)!

From your lips to God's ears Abdul! It's amazing how some fans start "analyzing the disasterous year" after a 1-1 start. Tell your boy we can still win it all, despite what the fans say!

I'll keep the faith! Win or lose, I'll support our guys. If we lose, I won't blame the players for not trying or caring. If we win, I'll be ecstatic.

I don't see a high scoring game with the rain. I see perfect conditions for the Pats to get back to some old style pounding football with the O-line and D-line. I think we've gotten become too finesse and need to return to our roots of just lining up and smacking the other guy in front of us around.

I would love to see a very efficient 17-10 game

With the Pats running the ball down their throat all day and a bunch of Falcons feeling like they just got hit by a bus.

It would be a good game to make the "win it in the trenches" point, if you think we can win it in the trenches. But this is a traditionally strong run team we're playing.

I think you'll see an emphasis on STOPPING the run, on the defensive side, and make Matt Ryan beat us with his arm... whereas they'll pretty much take the same tack, with Brady's rustiness. Until he can prove to an opposing coach he's the Brady they feared from 07, he's not.

On the bright side - he will be, sooner or later :)

But yeah, it would be a nice pipe dream if the O-line started gouging big holes for the backs, and the backs actually hit them (hint hint Maroney hint hint...) What can I say, every Sunday is an adventure.

Like it or not the Pats are built more to pass than to run... but it would be great if we could establish that we can win grind-it-out ground wars too.

this is a good game that will show us what the Pats are and will readily expose weaknesses we have.

I think the opposite will be true. We'll stop Ryan from throwing deep, but dare them to run.

BB doesn't like to give up the deep play.

However the weather will dictate our strategy. It could change either way.

Once again, the opponent's offense will depend on how much pressure we can get on the QB and how well the corners can come up and cover the short field- especially Gonzales- on third down.

Pat's defense rules this game.

Moss, if he can block out his back pain, will have a big day against the shortstops on the Falcons secondary, and I think Julian grows as the short option. We need a third receiver to show up today.

Oh....thought you were talking about her!
