I know that he will supposedly play per ESPN, but this is disconcerting. Meriweather being limited is also scary. And yes, I do plan on freaking out about every injury report for the rest of the year.

Re: Www dnp; wtf?

Well whatever ESPN says I usually expect the opposite so I'm training myself to be pleasantly suprised if Welker really does play.

If he doesn't suit up, prayers help too

Re: Wednesday njury report: Welker DNP

Nothing to worry about.......... YET! It could have been a defensive focused practice and Belichick decided to give Welker an extra day's rest to recover from his injury. Considering how the Falcon's offense has been better than their defense so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they were going to put a little more emphasis on the defense early in the week.

Changed the thread title so it was a little more descriptive. I hate how it doesn't allow for all-caps thread titles.

Thanks. It would have made more sense if in all caps - didn't know that wasn't allowed.

I hope you're right. It's odd how Welker was on the injury report before the Bills game, played that entire game, and then was suddenly out for the Jets game. Maybe he tweaked something late last week.

I know being without a very, very good player is never ever the best case scenario. But Edelman's 8 for 98 was more that satisfactory.

Hopefully "Triple W" returns soon... but I'd say his not playing wasn'T the key reason for the Jets game debacle (doesn't Emmitt use the verb form "debacled" ?).

I will also be panicking at every injury report (knowing BB is sometimes quite the trickster), but Wes isn't always my #1 concern.

NOOOOOOO NOT TOM'S RIGHT SHOULDER!!!! THAT'S HIS THROWING SHOULDER!!!

since 2001? really? never mind.

Oh and just for you PJ... new sig!

I know it was discussed a million times during the preseason, but until this weekend, we never really knew what Edelman could do during a real game.

Can you imagine a defense having to cover both Welker and Edelman when we go 4 wide?

Heck, keep 6 guys in to block for Brady, then look to hit Moss or Galloway deep, and if not, and the opposition brings the blitz, one of Welker or Edelman WILL be open.

Yeah.... Fitzy coined the "WWW" "White Wes Welker" term and it's stuck right on.. :)

Respects,

Gwedd

Team Balagan :D
