BB loves McGowan

BB and I are more alike than I originally thought. We both like Rose McGowan! Oh...wait a minute...

reminds me a bit of lawyer milloy - tough, big hitter, not very fast, not very athletic.

I like McGowan too. Only drawback is he's taking away playing time from Chung.

Did BB give him a wedding ring yet?

Maybe Chung's taking playing time away from Chung. And even if not, that may not be a bad thing. Don't put too much pressure on the rookies if it's not necessary.

I wonder whether McGowan might be one of the guys we see BB assigning to shadow Tony Gonzalez on Sunday?

Hey, they both live in MA...anything could happen...

wow...:D

I've been very interested to see how much time hes gotten on the field. I'd venture to say he is seeing a bit more time than Sanders.

That's what I thought when that question first popped up. I guess he's a younger version of the Tank Williams experiment.

Once Chung gets into the mix (by the bye), this could be flat-out scary group of DB's.

The ones that still have problems wrapping up ball-carriers or the ones that can hit hard but suck in coverage?

Hopefully a best of both worlds, worst of either, situation.

That seems to be the case. BB was asked about Chung and he said something to the effect of 'the kid's coming along, he's learning' etc. which seems to indicate he's not far enough on the curve to commit just yet, and like Mayo says, nothing wrong with that at all.

I recall BB being interviewed at the end of half-time of the NYG pre-season game by Steve Burton. McGowan's name came up based upon his positive first-half play and Burton said something to BB about McGowan hanging on and playing for a spot on the final 53. BB said something to the effect that McGown's spot on the roster wasn't a question at all, which surprised me because that's not BB's style, at least to my way of thinking. It showed his high regard for McGowan. Anyone else recall that?

I remember that as well.

That was awesome [/chris farley]

He's faster than James Sanders........that's why he's in there.

Seeing more and more of him.. he seems to be around the ball all the time.
