Punk.

QB12

You find out a lot about a player when they throw a flag across the field while throwing a hissy fit like a spoiled little 6 year old who didn't get the toy he wanted for Christmas. That's the Bart Scott I know.

And that, along with Rexy is the face of the Jesters.......can you imagine a Patriot ever saying something like that after a game.....especially a week 2 game?

Brought up in the true Ray Lewis tradition.....a Punk off the old block.

If by punk you mean winner then you guys are right. I don't have any problem with what he said.

Oh I see, we're going to piss and moan anytime anyone says anything mean about our team.

He and his team earned their day in the sun. By all means, let him enjoy it.

We'll see who is still standing come January, though.

Oh I see, we're going to piss and moan anytime anyone says anything mean about our team.

Apparently this is going to be the case. The Patriots couldn't shut him up so we're going to cry about it now.

I have no problem with what he said. We'll be seeing ya again though, Bart. We'll be seeing ya again...

Actually, he's a loser. Yes, he's a winner on the field. But he's a loser in life.

If by "hit in the mouth" he means "don't give the QB time to make throws", then they did that. If he means that Tom Brady is afraid to get hit and misses throws because of that fear, he's been proven wrong for years. Since most people think he means the second and not the first, they consider him a punk.

Tom Brady has three rings. How many do you have, Bart?

If he had simply said, "In my opinion, TB is a diffrerent Qb when you hit him a little and force him to throw on the run". That is a statement that applies to all pure pocket QBs- which TB is.

The problem with Scott's comments are that he is insinuating that Brady is a mediocre QB 100% of the time when Bart Scott sees him play when the entire civilized world's opinion of Brady is that he is an exceptionally great QB.

His remarks are outlandish, silly, and completely off-base.

Doesnt he have 1? didnt they win the superbowl this week? Oh yeah, forgot this wasnt the real super bowl just the Jets SP.

Lets see how TB does once he gets a few games under his belt, then we'll see whos talking.

Ahh yes, the revenge of the have-nots.

They sure did.

I don't see where he said that Brady was afraid of anything. I see him saying that constant pressure in Brady's grill makes him a worse player. That's usually true of the less mobile QBs, even the great ones, so it's not a very controversial statement. Normally it's not true for TB (see his stats against the blitz) but he doesn't always play lights out against Baltimore. Now we can argue whether it was the blitzing that did it or the arm-bands and and sideline grease board signals that did it, but the end result is that Brady threw for ~50% completion rate Sunday and the Jets won and we lost. And Brady had players in his grill all game long.

Since most people think he means the second and not the first, they consider him a punk.

Sore losers calling people names, nothing more.

I guess that includes the part where he said "To me he's a great symbol of what this league is all about."

C'mon....You know the part of the interview I am referring to. No need to be petty.

I am just looking forward to the rematch :)

Really nothing at all wrong with what he said and I don't think he showed any sign of disrespect.

Lets face it, the 'BLUEPRINT' we all laughed about in 2007 when it came out is now reality - Teams are STILL looking at the Giants defense in the SB and planning accordingly.

With this sh!tty OL the plan is simple - Blitz the hell out of Brady and hope he does not get the ball off - its a gamble but if you get to him you will probably beat the Patriots because the OL and the Running game at this point leave much to be desired.

In order for Brady to get his rhythm and confidence back (something he lacks right now) the OL and run HAVE to improve and fast.

C'mon....You know the part of the interview I am referring to. No need to be petty.

I'm not trying to be petty, I'm trying to encourage a balanced view. He was respectful of Tom but also basically said that when you know a football player on his ass that's a good thing. And he's right. They won and they're gabbing about it. To be honest, I think it benefits us in the long run because we'll remember this game and every single thing they said after their week 2 win. I'm pretty amazed that anybody has a problem with that.

If by punk you mean winner then you guys are right. I don't have any problem with what he said.

You don't have a problem with a guy calling your QB a guy who struggles under pressure?

Do you suffer from reading incomprehension?

When someone says, Brady struggled and that's the Brady I always see," he's saying this QB always sucks when you hit him.

That's clearly NOT the case, unless you're blind, deaf and dumb.

Next time, watch the actual games instead of going on a bike ride with your wife.
