We beat Atlanta rather convincingly, then beat Baltimore in a tough, mano-a-mano, bloodbath. When we go to Denver, we're 3-1, atop the AFC East.

2-0 is quite possible if we address our issues and get our act together. 0-2 is also possible if the don't.

I'm 100 percent with you.

Losses are tough for sure, but they are part of the winning equation ("I failed so many times, this is why I succeed - Michael Jordan paraphrased).

I really think, especially with BB, a loss is a step backward but eventually two or three steps forward. I think this team always uses losses to make itself stronger and really fix what was wrong (look at how we defended the wildcat the second time!).

So we will fix our problems for now, get some wins, and then some other weaknesses may show or become a problem. We'll lose again then, and then recover.

Basically, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I can see us being a tough 12-4 team that has faced the toughest schedule in the league, seen everything, been to every high and some low lows, and will be prepared for anything in the playoffs.

So don't freak out about losses. If we keep showing progress post losses like in the past, they can actually serve as great anti-complacency agents once in a while.

no way we are losing two in a row.

I think we win our next 5 and are 6-1 going into the bye... Im over the Jets loss.

We just played a really good Jets team and had the following obstacles:

-Brady is really rusty and not stepping into his throws. A split second makes a huge difference, as we've seen before to our advantage. See Peyton Manning's 2008 season.

-The Jets were playing at home, basically for their Super Bowl. Their confidence is sky high, and Mark Sanchez basically has no known weaknesses (that will change in a month.)

-We normally capitalize on a lot of these plays. Brady was late on a TD to Galloway and way off on a TD to Edelman.

-We don't have our best defensive player in Mayo, and a huge part of our offense in Welker

-We committed 11 penalties and looked confused on offense

-We still had plenty of chances to win the game, even down to the final minute

My point is, we will be fine once we work out the kinks. The roster is too talented not to win at least 11 games.

I hope we beat the Raven's for sure though... Tough game and i'll be there watchin, :D...

They'll probably beat Atlanta (when is last time NEP lost two in a row? 2001?). But unless something drastic happens, I find it hard to believe the Pats will beat the exact same type of defense that just held them to 9 points. Of course, every game is different (hell, Balto just gave up 400 yards passing to Rivers ....)

One game at a time. After we beat Atlanta, then we could look to the next game.

It's my birthday this saturday so there going to win this sunday as a nice birthday gift to me...:singing:

Seriously, this team historically rebounds from a loss pretty well. This could be the game that we look back on at the end of the season (let's say February!) that was a turning point. Like the MNF loss to the Dolphins back in 2004.

One at a time. The Falcons are 2--0, are going to be battling a tough Saints team tooth and nail for supremacy in the NFC South all season and, despite the rush by many in the media to put Sanchez in Canton after two games, they have a much, much better QB than the two we lost to yesterday and barely beat last week. I doubt very much that BB is looking past them and I won't either. We're going to have to bring a much better game than we did yesterday to beat them, which I firmly believe we WILL, but not if we're already thinking about the Ravens.

Speak with wisdom, you do, oh noble Jedi! The Force is with those who take one game at a time.

2006 indy and jets i think.
also..its funny the last time they played ATL they were coming of an equally horrible loss to SD.

we lost two straight to the jets and Pitt last year. get it right!

i say they loose to ATL great TE very good RB one of the best pass rushers in the NFL in john abraham

If the patriots offense get back in sync, and the defense does not fall a part, the patriots will win the next 2 games.

Agreed.

One game at time, but ATL is probably our toughest team opponent before the bye. This would be a big win (of course they all are).

We will be 1 and 1 in the next 2 weeks and 2-2 going into Denver

One of these young outstanding 2nd year QBs ,Flacco or Ryan will burn this patriots D - Thats my guess

I think we beat Atlanta and lose to Baltimore which is way too physical for this crappy OL to handle - The OL sucks right now..period
