That paraphrases Rodney last night on Football Night in America, referring to his former team, after discussing the Jets' victory. It seemed like Rodney had actually spoken to some of his former teammates in the locker room before saying that. I really like Rodney, and am glad he is where he is. He and Tedy are like our guardian angel in the media.

So, the team isn't panicking after one loss. I wouldn't expect them to be panicking if they were 1-3, so I guess I don't understand the point.

Rodney must have felt he needed to add this, given how the FNIA crew was talking up the Jets' victory and what it might portend for the rest of the season.

What exactly was Rodney saying?

What exactly was Rodney saying?

Believe Dan Patrick asked Rodney how his former team must be feeling right now after getting their heads handed to them by their arch-rival. Rodney said they were feeling terrible (or something like that). Then Tony Dungy went to a play that he said typified the Patriots' woes all game long - a bad throw to Galloway for example. After some more discussion, Rodney interjected the comment that the Pats were disappointed but certainly were not panicking.

It's was just the 2nd game of the season, be concerned if there playing like this in December...

And we only lost by one score. It's not like the Patriots were blown out. A couple of plays go different and we win this game.

"Heads handed to them" ?
They lost by a TD on the road.....Dan needs to get real.

Yes, that's what I'm wondering. That pass to Edelman is a touch more accurate and it might have been the difference.

Way to exaggerate!

The one in the back of the EZ as well (Galloway I think), if he throws that ball 3' to the left it's an EZ TD......he threw it behind him....part of the game, and I'm hoping with more reps things will get better.

It's a tough loss because if you look at the stats they are pretty even. Pats more passing yds, Jets more rushing yds... mostly everything else was even except QB hits. Brady didn't play particularly well but at least the defense did pretty decent. Honestly I think most of the blame goes on BB and his game plan. But yeah there is no reason for panic although the media will be all over this for the next week. The worst part of all this is Rex got to back up his big mouth with a victory... but on the plus side I guess it can be considered a real rivalry again.

The Patriots need to move on and in a hurry. With Atlanta and Baltimore coming to town, the Patriots could be looking at 1-3 (and lucky not to be 0-4).

Put this game on the shelf and prepare for the Hawks.

Everyone keeps bringing up this play and Brady did a helluva job just getting the ball even close to Galloway. He was getting hit right as he threw this and still threw it 40 yards and gave Galloway a chance to make a play. We cant say that this should have been a TD because even a 100% TB would not have completed that pass

Exactly........let me see a healthy team playing well in Nov & Dec setting themselves up for a nice Jan/Feb string of victories.

I honestly have seen a lot of encouraging things over the past two games that give me hope that what I wrote above will come to be.

They shouldn't be disappointed.

They should be embarassed, and highly, highly pissed-off.

That offensive "performance" yesterday was an all-hands-on-deck disgrace.

The Patriots got sand kicked in their face by the beach bully.

there isn't a point other than to tell the board what rodney had to say about how the pats are feeling. that's the point.
