Re: Jerry out next week, and the rest of the season

If a rookie DT was the Pats key to playing better this week on offense were doomed lol.
I think we can use any help we can get right now :(

Egh, it sucks to lose a rookie first-rounder at any point, but this early in the year especially. Hope he recovers fine and doesn't have his development too negatively impacted.

Anything that weakens their defense is good for our struggling offense. I don't think anybody believes he would have been the key player for our offense in this game.

Yeah I feel ya, I just look at the offense and have to think their struggles are just a result of in all reality this is only Brady's second game of real football in a year. We SHOULD see a week to week improvement, before the season started looking at the schedule I thought we were going to have an advantage vs the jets in week 2 since they were learning a new defensive system. But looking at things now I think the Jets had the advantage playing us so early in the year while Brady is still rusty and getting back into the flow of things. I know the team does not look ahead to rematches n all, but I think payback is going to be Bradys number one priority next time he faces the jets, their going to see an entirely different Tom Brady next time around.

Sorry to rain on your parade but, unless something drastic happens this week, John Abraham is still playing... and going against Matt Light.

Don't you mean Todd Light?

Can the title to the thread be changed to Peria Jerry?

When I first saw the title, I said to myself: "Do his teammates call Jerod Jerry for a nickname?"

I changed the title to prevent any heart attacks, but I was totally lost on how you went from Jerod to Jerry considering nobody has ever called him that here. I mean, if this was really about Mayo one would have to be plain sadistic to not make it perfectly clear who you were talking about.

The loss of Jerry hurts us in regards of teams now can get a double on Abraham .. Jerry even though a rookie and only 2 games in showed he command some double teams .

It also looks like Norwood may be out after getting another concussion. He had problems with that during training camp. Should help on KO returns.

Not so sure he will be ruled out yet . They might cause we have a bye week following the game but all hands should be on deck and Weems who has been in replace of Norwood has had a couple of nice returns.

Sounds like a skin disease. No offense, Hawks fan.:D

If he sustained another concussion on top of one in training camp, there's not much of a chance he plays this week. Head injuries are on a different level when it comes to caution.

The Patriots need more than one Falcon injury to perk up

their anemic offense.

I had no idea who Jerry was. And the only injury I care about right now is Jerod's.

So a team loses its first round pick and your celebrating why? This is why people hate some of us Patsfans.:banned:

It looks like your inability to read plain English is usurped only by your ability to make asinine posts. Nowhere is there celebration. In fact, if you knew who Tom Dimitrioff is then you'd understand that I've been empathetic to the Falcons which, you know, is about the opposite of being celebratory.

How's your boy Bisping doing anyway?
