Where do you think at this time of how far this team will go?

Wake me up in November.

Well this topic will not be pretty I have a feeling :)

Without being too negetive after two games I will say this, the pats have some glaring holes that are not easily corrected. I think they will end up being 11-5 and fighting for a play-off spot.

As long as we play with as little passion as we have shown, we're toast.

The loss of Harrison, Bruschi and Seau was a loss of PASSION more than a loss of ability.

While getting younger was a fantastic idea, jettisoning almost ALL of the veterans at exactly the same time is a head scratcher.

I am not sure passion can overcome injuries and lack of talent.

The middle of the defense WILL get better with Mayo.
The passing game WILL get better once Brady gets his head (and shoulder) together.

Who said anything about Brady's shoulder? Source?

Jaworski was right when he talked about Brady's Mechanics and struggles last week

Brady has not planted his legs like he normally does and that is what I think is a big problem right now

Whether he gets his act together and goes back to the QB we all used to know will be seen,So far except for a few solid throws he is inconsistent, almost looking scared to get his feet planted before the throw.

I think he WILL recover and play like our future HOF QB again,Question is will it be by the end of this season or will it take longer?

One of my biggest concerns and questions is 'Does Brady have confidence in his OL?' - If not there could be bigger problems going on in his head than we realize,if you don't trust the guys in front of you to make the blocks to give you time to throw you will throw too early and often innacurate.

The Jury is still somewhat out, but very confident that there will be a huge upswing, two games do not tell all that much about anything..

As of right now... based on what we have seen, I think the Jets are a much better team.

NOW... that may (and hopefully will) change as the year goes on. But if things don't improve, it's hard to imagine the play-offs, let alone a SB bid.

It's impossible to tell how the season's gonna go at this point, I really wish people would stop speculating on that. We've struggled so far but there are 14 more games. Back in '07 we started blowing everyone out and did we win a ring? On the flipside, the Giants who did win a ring got blown out in their first two games.

My confidence level on this team will change IF i see the following things:

1-We need to do a better job at half time adjustment.
2-TB and his receivers need to be in touch. Good morning, Galloway !
3-Our running game needs to improve. Good morning, Balony !
4- Can we play a better D???

Why?

Isn't that what fans come to a fan forum to do?

Absolutely thinking Superbowl. The team is too talented and has experience at the most important spot (QB) not to believe this. That being said, the team will not get out of January unless the O throws a curveball against those title-contending defenses it will face. I think BB is too smart to let those teams feast on game film of the predictable spread offense.

Regards,
Chris

I personally think that fans and the media let BB do whatever he wants for a long time. It's time for us to hold somebody accountable for a lousy performance.

1- If somebody were a coach of this Pats, he would undboutly have his ars handed down by the fans and the media. Why? Because how could you possibly let a 07 offensive team score 9 points?? It's UNREAL.

2-BB doesn't have his killer instinct or any desire to win more. If he gave us 3 SB rings with a OK offensive, why can't we have at least 1 SB ring with a talent team???????

3-BB lets his coordinators do all the work when he is watching his team get killed on the field. How pathetic is that ?

I'm a patriots fan but i don't want to be a sorry ars fan. I don't want to be a fan who continues pointing at 3 SB wins to keep me happy while my team fails to make to the playoff. Why can't we replicate the same success that we had when we have better players????

It's a sign of weakness when you allow somebody talking trash for months and you only score 9 pts on their stadium. Come on, now !

Why did we spend 2 full pad session a day during training camp? Because of 9 pts?
Why did we practice a lot of 'redzone' when we only scored 9 pts?????

What's up with all the 'hard work' when we only scored 9 pts???

When you give 'people' too much credit, you get a pathetic game.

After 07 SB and these games, i don't think BB is that 'great'. It's my humble opinion.

If you want to blame Belichick for anything, blame him for not getting round 1 or 2 pass rushers out of the draft who could have helped this team, even if they originally didn't seem like a fit, this team could have been no worse with a Larry English or a Rey Maualuga or a James Laurinitis which were all available.

Blame him for looking ahead and not keeping Seymour another year or for being more aggressive in getting a top talent at OLB in FA, but don't say he is not as good as he was before - He is still good as ever as a HC,but he can't play on the field,he gives assignments to the players who must carry them out,if they don't its because they lack some talent, not the coaches fault.

I agree with your last statement. i dont think Brady has confidence in his line. the line needs a shake up. you have 2 liabilities on the line right now in Light and Neil. Move light ito rg and Vollmer to lt.
