This is actually one of the plagiarist's more fact based columns. Still, the agenda behind the curtain undercuts it all.

Troubling developments - BostonHerald.com

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - You are what you are and what the New England Patriots [team stats] are at the moment is in trouble.
Not three feet under water and the tide is rising kind of trouble. Not upside down on your mortgage and living off unemployment kind of trouble. Not surrounded by a pack of hungry hyenas with only a stick in your hand kind of trouble. But, then again, not exactly easily solvable trouble either.

I only read the blurb you pasted so i can't comment on the full text of what he said/wrote. However, what he did say is true. We are what we are right now. We have some trouble/issues to resolve (priority #1, scoring TD's in the red zone!!!!). And how easy the trouble(s) is solved is debatable though.....

Refused to click on it, as know will just get pissed off.. maybe he can refuel the lets draft David Terrell debate, start a healthy discussion about plagiarism..

Why do you bother posting Borges crap here? Who cares!?!?!

Borges is simply stating what Belichick always says "You are what
you are". Right now both the offense and defense look pretty sad.
The offense is probably going to rebound. Tom Brady will come out
of his funk shortly as the rust wears off and his shoulder gets better.
There are too many offensive weapons to score only 9 points. I
don't know how they are going to counteract the pass rush. I bemoan
the fact they didn't re-sign Gaffney and instead signed Galloway.

The defense is a different story. They are still lacking the personnel
to have a good pass rush. The Patriots were short sighted in years past
not drafting and developing young linebackers. The day of reckoning has
arrived.

Some advice, take it for what it is worth but get over it. The guy is just a stupid writer, just like all the other stupid writers. Random thought, I have noticed that Reiss has been a little bit less rah-rah since going to ESPN, not kissing the Patriots butt quite as much.

I thought this was an interesting statement "If you have to change the base defense that won you three Super Bowls with the Patriots and two with the New York Giants, the one you grew up believing is the best way to stop an offense, you probably have more holes to fill than you’d like."

And you still read this guy and his paper because.........?

Unfortunately he is dead on in this article. Especially about the defense getting beat up in the second half of both games.

I refuse to click on anything Bogus. He's just as bad as Olberman, who again while doing highlights of the day said the reason the pats couldn't beat the Jets as because the pats weren't able to use 'spygate' tape on the Jets....I bet Rodney had something to say off the air!

There are no linebackers who are smart enough or tough enough to play linebacker for Bill. I know David Harris would look great in a Pats uni.

I always found his writing style smarmy and condescending.

His similies and analogies are sophomoric and have this "Hey look at me" smugness...as if he gave up trying to put out quality articles and only has to "put pen to paper" to make a work of art.

No doubt he is a D-bag as a person and he can not keep this negative character trait from bleeding into his high school level agenda-driven articles.

I would never give him a hit by clicking on one of his pathetic piles of dung.

"you are what you are" goes for borges too

I won't even read it. Because he has an agenda with BB, his opinion doesn't count. Just go away, Ronnie.

Beaten up?? Off the mark with that one..1 TD in the second half?? 13 points in a half is getting beaten up?? If you use that as a standard..a LOT of Ds are getting beaten up.

Are you Ron Borges?

The offense is going to need time to click on all cylinders, TB is rusty, we basically have the same offense we did in 07.
The D has a lot of new faces and needs time to gel, that said they were'nt sad at all the last two games, they played alright, can do better and I think they will once they have more time together.

Now I have hope for the season, RB the douchebag has written them off, thats a good sign.

Say what you want but his article is dead on........complete truth. The only reason I think they don't run the 3-4 is because he doesn't have the players to do it.

"If you have to change the base defense that won you three Super Bowls with the Patriots.... you probably have more holes to fill than you’d like."

Actually the Pats ran a 4-3 in the 2001 Super Bowl season after Ted Johnson and Bryan Cox went down with injuries.

Because it's a message board. And since I can't use it to mow my lawn or give me a massage, I'm going to use it to post crap from the internets.

I think it was more of a rhetorical question to imply that Borges is an idiot and irrelavent.

Besides the team that he wanted to lose, lost. So we shouldn't hold him to any standards this week.

I'm really learning a lot from the posts on this board today.
