We can use him next week.
I don't know, I don't work for the Pats.

In the post-game press conference Belichick said that Welker had suffered a grade three contusion to the subscapularis muscle and a grade two contusion to the infraspinatus muscle on his right arm. He has been receiving acupuncture as well as more traditional treatments twice daily. Although this has resulted in not being able to practice with the team on passing drills he has continued with cardio workouts in order to keep his legs and overall conditioning where they need to be. In addition he has been able to participate in all the team's off-field activities, such as film study for the next game with both the receivers coach and special teams coach. Belichick said Welker is 'day to day' and in reference to the injury, mentioned 'it is what it is' - also noting that he won't make a decision regarding Welker's playing status until the end of the week, and that he'll 'just play the players that can play, and the ones that can't play won't play'.
