When will it be safe to jump back in the water with real posts?

Some of you haven't seen the Belichick Patriots suck in a regular season game before? Please. Cut Adalius Thomas? Cut Guyton? Unreal.

We need a few weeks to get the kinks out, because I guarantee you teams can't blitz Brady like this for long and get away with it. He's out of sync right now with his WRs. Today reminded me of the Reche Caldwell years, and even back then, Brady eventually developed rapport with Cakdwell.

5 Days....

Valid and good point. Obviosly the Galloway/brady duo is not on the same page. Moss was taken out of the game apparently. While I am not panicking yet, we could easily be 0-2. We have a tough few games ahead of us.

On a side not I think Eddleman played well. A rookie in his second game.

I think we have another 3 or 4 days of this to endure yet. I wish we could sticky some of this stuff....

3 or 4 days as the fairweather trolls are taking over....some of it is pute BS..trading Thomas getting rid Guyton Galloway..these nerds thiank they can play Madden and THAT is football..they are pepetually clueless..and have they head up their backsides when it comes to football... As far as I'm concerned they need to be relegated to the Practice squad away from the REAL fans...Madden is a game.. it had ZERO to do with real football coaching...Go play Madden and fantasy football and BE GONE!!!

Can't wait for the "We should have traded up for Sanchez" thread

I believe the panic-mongers beat you to the ETA.

speaking of Guyton just a little gripe, did anybody see him walking during a play that was right at him:confused:?

The last one for this week's game will be about 12:59 pm next Sunday

No matter how well they do there will be people running scared...some are not satisfied no matter what they do or how well they do.

LOL...I get a smile thinking about THAT phone call to Mangini.

"Hey Eric, It's Bill. No hard feelings, right?..."

Heck, I'm amazed we haven't seen any "We should have kept Cassel" comments. . . .

A few weeks?!? Are you serious? In a few weeks, we'll be 3-5, and out of PO contention.

This team's problems will not be solved by "getting the kinks out." This team's problems are systemic: poorly-acquired personnel to produce a pass-rush; the complete abandonment of a running game in order to feature the Tommy & Randy Show; and the failure to scout, draft, and develop a 3rd WR.

The seeds never sown don't grow. The last 3-4 drafts have been brutal outside of a good LBer and a decent safety (and a HOF WR traded for 4th rounder). But it's really catching up with this team.

I am more worried about Tom surviving than I am them sucking. I think they will play better as the season rolls along. I am on record here wishing they made better use of their running game. They averaged 4.2 yards today which is plenty for a team that will throw more than run. I think we could have worn their defense down with more running today.

Brady has a huge hand in the offensive gameplan. Perhaps they are loaded more to the pass because he feels he needs the reps to get his game going? Right now that's all that makes sense to me. I think we'll see a more healthy 60-40 passing to running ratio next week.

Also - I think the defense is doing very well considering Burgess is not up to speed yet and of course Mayo out and Seymour gone. I don't see defense as a liability this year at all. I think we can expect to see more blitzing from the linebackers as the secondary gets tighter.

I don't think it's panic to say it's time to fire Belickick, cut Brady, and blow the whole thing up. Even to the casual observer, it's clear that we have outlived our use for these first ballot hall-of-famers and need to start looking forward to the #1 pick in the draft.

a lot of folks are embarrassing themselves tonight, some of whom I have grown to respect from their posts over time. i'm just scratching my head and trying to figure out how they could be bailing so quickly on a team with this many weapons. someone actually suggested that we would have been better off with Matt under center ...

i'm very disappointed in the lack of maturity, patience, knowledge, whatever that has been demonstrated by some here tonight. i'll probably end up excusing it the way you excuse your brother's boorish behavior after he's had a few too many drinks on a bad day, but, still, it's tough to take...:(

...so far, no one has suggested that Belichick should have gone to Hoyer...but I'm afraid that the night is young...I'm outa here...see you in the morning

Good to see a wise old man in this mix.
