What do you think the Patriots record will be at the break?
We play Atlantia next week, they won. Then they have the Ravens who are beating the Chargers. They could be 4-3 or 3-4.

5-2? Who do the patriots lose too? Ravens , Atlanta,Tenn, Denver or Tampa?

All I know is that if the Pats play in the next two games as they have played the last two they'll be 1-3 after week 4 of the season.

Right now, we're not beating 3 playoff teams, (Baltimore, Atlanta, and Tennesse), unless we can field a ballanced offense and run the ball. We need ballance and physicallity. Nothing shows phyisicallity like craming the ball down your opponents throught with a strong run game.

Agreed. I don't see the appeal in spreading it out, 5 wides, and throwing it 47 times against an aggressive blitz. Just didn't make sense.

I thought Taylor and Morris were okay today. I say bench Maroney. The dude SUCKS.

Right now I'll take Baltimore because I think their D is better than Atlanta's. Right now Baltimore is the worst match up for the offense which is in a bit of disarray. I was mildly encouraged by the way the D played today what with the "Leon Washington will have 400 yards rushing and receiving" posts all week. You hold a team to 16 you should expect to win the game. Period.

Let's just focus on the Falcons for now. They are the next opponent and it looks to be another tough game. One game at a time.

How did Houston beat Tennessee? Yikes...they looked terrible last week...

Before the season started (and before the Seymour trade), I felt the Pats could go 12-4. The four losses would be one each among the six division games, one of the NFC South games, one of the AFC South games, and one other game. After the trade I still felt 12-4 was possible, though I was starting to lean towards 11-5.

I still feel the same way today.

It's one game folks, relax. A seven point loss on the road to a team 'playing it's Super Bowl' that had a winning record last year and made several off-season upgrades. Now if after seven games the Pats' record is indeed 3-4, then obviouly I'll change my outlook. But not tonight.
