Falcons, yeah possibly. The Ravens, Hell no

If the offense figures out how to handle a blitz, yes. If not, no.

exit is over there ---------------------------------->

Re: Falcons and Ravens in the next two weeks..can you really see us beating both of t

i expect to win both, obviously.....

the offense just needs to jell a little bit, and our defense i believe can handle atlanta's running game, and defenetely can handle flacco

this will make it 3 straight weeks against QB's first time playing a BB defense, so odds are with us, even after the jets game

Just like we definitely could handle a rookie.

Patriots have alot of work to do!! I have a feeling we will rebound. Brady just needs to get into a rhythm with his new receivers. Its a work in progress.

We HANDLED SANCHEZ!!!!! GAHH!!! Can anyone just admit Brady played awful and it was the OFFENSE's fault!

sorry, very frustrated people blame the defense.

Bottom line, we lost. He made no mistakes, and his QB rating was over 100. I'd hate to see what it looks like if we couldn't handle him.

NY Jets Passing
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT RATING
M. Sanchez 14/22 163 7.4 1 0 101.1

I hate to say it but, I think we're in for a long season.

As a rookie, you should watch your remarks. The rabid BB fans

are gathering things to throw at you. In the first two games the

Patriots have been disappointing. They play the Falcons, Ravens,

and Titans over the next month. If the Patriots cannot win two

out of three, I will agree with you.

Have we not said repeatedly QB rating means jack ****? Ecspecialtly when the offense is being called conservatively as it is, of course it's going to help his rating.

If that's us being toasted than we're in good shape because we must be a lock down, TD or nothing D huh. Those stats aren't mind boggling dude.

Look, 2 weeks ago everyone in here is talking about records, perfection, yada yada. Now we're 1-1 and we're talking like we're in deep trouble. Freaking ridiculous.

Why shouldn't the "rabid BB fans" do so? He's an idiot to say it's going to be a long season when you're 1-1. In that sense, the same should be said for the Steelers. they've looked rough too, I guess they're garbage just like us huh.

In 2 weeks the ravens vaunted D has been lit up. If our D sucks theirs must be historically bad. The Falcons are good, but I don't see the big mismatch others seems to see. The same could be said for the Titans. Where is the huge mismatch? I mean people here are SO discouraged we have to be outmatched in multiple areas, we have people thinking they'll barely win 2 out of the next 3 weeks.

Re: Falcons and Ravens in the next two weeks..can you really see us beating both of t

I have no idea how we will do the rest of the year but MAKE NO MISTAKE-
we have not looked good the first 2 games.

Re: Falcons and Ravens in the next two weeks..can you really see us beating both of t

I don't know about the Ravens. I've been watching the San Diego game and, apart from a couple of picks (one of which was a tip drill pick), their defense looks susceptible. I personally think Atlanta will be a little bit more of a challenge.

If Welker comes back and Brady starts setting his feet, we should be able to beat both teams.

Are you not a "rabid BB fan"?

We have a better chance against the Falcons (their defense is mediocre at best... Delhomme threw for over 300 yards and the Carolina RBs rushed for almost 150) , but if we had to lose one of the games then it would be better to lose to them rather than the Ravens.

Re: Falcons and Ravens in the next two weeks..can you really see us beating both of t

I was listening to the pats post game on the sports hub. They were talking about this team possibly being 3-4 at the bye week. One person said it was impossible and and one said it could happen. I personally can see this team being 3-4 at the bye as they have some tough games coming up. The team that is probably the weakest is the broncos; problem is the pats have a hard time against them for whatever reason.

I know it is only game 2 of the season but after watching the past two games this team has some gaps that are not easily fixed. Pats have not put any pressure on the QB and they are weak in the LB spot.

I was not worried about the offense but I am a little now. Brady will get better but the O line has been poor at best. The receivers are not on the same page as Brady and for whatever reason they have gone away from the running game.

I though this team may end up being 13-3 but I am starting to think they will be an 11-5 team fighting to get into the post season as a wildcard.
