Ellis: Jets need to knock Brady 'off his block' - AFC East - ESPN

The tagline is trying to capitalize on the smack talk, but this interview shows a lot of respect for Tommy boy.

Excerpt:

"His brain," Ellis replied, when asked what sets Brady apart. "He's really smart like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, those types of guys. They're really not going to mess up that often.

"You've really got to force them into bad decisions. If you mess up on D, he will capitalize on it. He will make every throw. [Brady is] very confident in his approach, mind-set, attitude, everything."

History has proven it. Hes right on the money.

He's a good one.

He might get fined for NOT being a douche in the media knowing Rex.

That would be awesome. He gets fined for being the only one on the team who actually cares.....Good times....

Yeah Ellis is one of the better ones, I don't mind him and Washington and Mangold, they're all lunch pail kinda guys.

Consider these quotes before condeming the Jets talk.

"The Jets are a Great team, they've proven that over the course of the pre-season and against, uh, Houston"

Tom Brady

When asked who he didn’t respect, Tom Brady said simply, “There’s four letters in their name.”

When host Glenn Ordway asked, “Those Green Guys?”

Brady laughed and responded, “Yeah, exactly.”

The Jets, of course, have four letters in their name and wear green.

Brady has had it in for the Hulk ever since his son's underroos leaked on him. :snob:

You had to dig back to May 2008 to find that. Considering that he was just talking about the Giants SB performance before that, the Jets definitely paled in comparison, let alone the fact that the illustrious Mangina tried to undermine the Pats by exposing the illicit filming. How could anyone respect a team coached by that joker. How much to do you respect the Browns?

Either way, it's still not even close to level of trash talk we've seen this week from the Jets. Oh well, it'll all be settled soon enough.

no it wont....no matter who wins there are still 14 games left in this season, a rematch, and maybe a playoff match between them
