what happens first, fatgina gets fired or one of the players gives him a beatdown?

Mangini is actually smart. He learned from Belichick that the path to greatness is to get fired from the Browns first. He's WAY ahead of Belichick's pace.

Come to think of it, maybe Mangini really IS ManGenius... after all, genius is 1% inspriation and 99% persperation... and the fat fink sure does seem to sweat a lot.

So this is how Mangina is going to pay his fine for lying about Favres shoulder.

Did he have one of his vaunted "open competitions" between two mathematicians to decide how much the fine would be on this one?

Why the hell did they hire Mangina in the first place?

It would be funny if it were a rookie fined during his forced slave labor for Mangina's football camp.

This guy is an absolute TURD.

What is the logic of hiring a proven mediocrity? Don't take a chance on someone who could be good, just hire someone known to be able to be mediocre? Browns fans should revolt.

Just silly on a multitude of levels.

It hit me that Mangini is like Capt Queeg from the Caine Mutiny. All we need is Eric to pull out silver balls in his hands in a post game conference and talk about the "strawberries, strawberries"

There has to be more to the story than this. When I check out of a hotel, I expect them to add the extras on my bill (room service, minibar,) Did he tell them,'don't drink the water"???? How cheap can you get..with a pro athlete?
Maybe this explains why they have staph problems. Did they replace disinfectant with plain soap??? I'm only half-joking .....
The CBA provides for room and board (article 38)during training and if they are on team business, I hope the Browns followed the letter of the law re per diems (article 39- see below) because if I'm the union rep, I'm scrutinizing everything now..

I expect that the NFLPA might actually weigh in on this subject.

That's a rediculous penalty for such a small thing, especially since the hotel normally would add the cost of the water onto the credit card billing after it was discovered. Every Hotel i have ever stayed at as put a $20 "padding" onto the hold on your card in order to cover such events. If the bill is square, then it's rebated or refunded or not even charged.

I would have to think that there are other issues between the player and coach here. If not, there certainly is now.

What a douche Mangina has become...

I dont know about you guys, but the word "Mangina" is funny to me every time I hear it.

I've asked myself that question, i never thought he get another coaching gig again. Maybe Cleveland thought well BB sucked when he was (his first HC job) here and we let him go, maybe we'll strik gold.

This is the same organization that threw the bank at Derek Anderson, and you're wondering why they hired Mangini?

Cleveland = Becoming like Oakland, but without the personality.

Cleveland: Putting the FUN back in dysFUNctional.. :singing:

Mangini has boobs

One presumes that the player has called his union rep.

Needs to come to the Pats Org for a refresher course, and some well deserved detention.. he obviously did not pick up on the subtleties very well.

Players don't use their own credit cards, it's all direct billed to the team. They are expected to pay for any extras themselves when they check out. They get paid their per diem which is why the team doesn't pay for the water.

I find it bizarre that they would fine a player over an administrative matter like this, unless it's a repeat offense and he was warned. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Mangini had nothing to do with it and it was all instigated by a front office type.

When you check into a hotel where somebody else is picking up the tab, you're asked for a credit card for incidentals. I've been going through that all month.

That said, one hotel did ask me if I WANTED to give a credit card, rather than insisting on one. So I guess there's a possibility of crossed signals.
