Rhodes bashing Rodney on Twitter

I have the Jets tweets on my iPod Touch and am reading Kerry's comments as we speak,He continues to say everything is out of context and that he hears that some Jets fans are scared because of it and he thinks its crazy!

Just now he tweeted this response after a member mentioned Rodney's comments ...

"I'm detecting a lil jealousy from rodneyh37 (harrison's tweet name) - He must wish he was playing 2morrow (idiot doesn't even realize the game is 2 days away) - My talent outweighs his,ask Belichick"

All I can say is WOW! - I hope Rodney doesn't jump the booth for the field and bash Rhodes all over Giants Stadium.

BTW: Rodney is coming back saying Rhodes is not as good as he thinks because he is passing on tackles - I love this confrontation online!!

Rhodes is a good enough safety, but he's overrated. People make him out to be God's gift to defensive backfields when that simply isn't true. I can think of plenty of NFL safeties that I would rather have than Kerry Rhodes. And yes, Rodney Harrison in his prime is definitely one of them.

Before Rhodes got his new deal, he was pretty good and not really overrated. Since he has gotten soft as Rodney pointed out.

No contest. Harrison is hated for his brutality, but people can't deny he was one of the best safeties. Has Rhodes become that yet? No, so how dare people here say he's better than Rodney. And give me a break the last couple seasons, I'm sure Rodney would be better than Rhodes if Rhodes was 30 and Harrison was 20 something as well.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the drama. This is just one big sack of awesome, and I hope it continues all night. Except, Rodney is supposed to have a different perspective now. Turns out, he still has a player's attitude, just without the coach stepping on his words.


As an aside, Twitter might just be the best invention since the spork.

I rarely read Twitter msgs... but I love it - I just wait until others get the good Tweets and laugh. It is hilarious. Ocho is hilarious, the Jets are hilarious. It IS probably the wussiest of all "call outs" and that is part of the appeal... Huge, mammoth men of steel, ripped tight... typing their way to geekdom. When I was the only nerd around with a Tandy 1000, I would have never, in my wildest dreams, guessed geekology would be so "in". Especially in the football world.
