.... freaking pyshced about the game on Sunday as I was about the game this past Monday, but I am.

I hope the Pats embarrass the JETS, seeing they have set themselves up for a big fall quite nicely. Haven't they!?

If I feel as fired up as I do about this game, I can't imagine how Brady and company feel. I want to see more clips of Brady walking up and down the sideline screaming, "WE'RE NOT FINISHED FELLAS!!"

 = Sanchez
:enranged: = Brady

I've seen this happenp so many times before:

Jets run their mouths.

Pats kick the azz.

Jets are like those kids punching dummys that pop back up after being hit. They just rationalize the beat down and then run their mouths again the next time like nothing ever happened.

Pats beat them, BOUNCE, next team beats them, BOUNCE, Fan base leaves them, BOUNCE.....

I have to admit, it's fun watching those gang green fellows celebrating an expected win with a rookie QB. That takes chutzpah.

Playing Houston's defense is one thing. Playing against New England's defense is something else. A whole 'nuther level of Uh-Oh....

I expect Sanchez to be massively humbled by games' end. :singing:

It seems like it was the usual rivalry game, then the Jets players started talking and of fate works it's magic on sunday, the Jets will be humbled. It's been a long work week for me that only ends tomorrow night so I can't wait to put my feet up sunday afternoon and watch the Pats beat the Jets!

I HOPE the entire Jets organization is served a giant portion of humble pie, right from the head chef.

New England's defense did nothing to impress me last week.

My guess is that Rex Ryan is going to be a horrible head coach in this league and be gone in less than two seasons.

Everytime I pick a Patriots blowout, they burn me. So I "think" the AOGs will win this week ;)

There is a difference between "picking" and "hoping for." You can still hope and crave them absolutely DESTROYING them, without jinxing them by "picking" the blowout win... picking up what I'm putting down? Mopping what I'm spilling?

I can't remember the last time I've been more pumped up for a division game either. This is going to be a good, physical game. In the end, I think our offense is too much for the Jets' defense to overcome. Slow, methodical drives with underneath routes to Welker, Baker, and Watson that are left open when Rex brings the house time after time.

The Jets players this year are really an extension of their coach. Correct me if I am wrong but players in NE's lockerroom respect a lot of the Jets players.

Personally I think it WILL be a very competitive game. I also think that this does fire up the Patriots, at least it fired up the old Patriot, recently removed, players. I'd like to think that edge has passed onto the new kids.

Let's face it, I think the Jets have a great team, may see their QB show his youth this week, but they are a team going in the right direction, it will be a challenge.

Yup, I am definately psyched for this one. Just the fact that this game primarily, but all other games, all the NFL is back, is very very good.

It will be interesting to watch our team work it's way through this year's schedule, and that in and of itself brings great anticipation...and is aawesome...:)

I forgot to mention I love the 2pm start time, it's my favourite time for a game to be on!

This one's gonna be sweet to win and bitter as hell if the Pats lose. I imagine it's that way for both fanbases right about now.

Since BB / Brady are 9-1 at the Meadowlands, and they both hate the Jets, BB for many reasons, and Brady for the NY asterisks next to his superbowls :
I'm expecting a game like the Steelers playoff game a few years back, where they went into Pittsburgh and hung 40 plus points on " the best defense in the NFL ".
There is just something about that green that makes them see red.
Pats 52-23.

The Jets and Steelers have been doing this for a long time.
Recently the Chargers started.

I don't know if you remember the Steelers from the first part of the decade. We were going to play the AFC Championship game in Pitt. '01 the steelers were making a lot of noise we beat them to go to the SB. The steelers (Heinze Ward) i think keep saying the better team didn't win, other players said that they were going to kick NE azz's the next time which was the opening of Gillette. The steelers got their azzs whooped, so what did they do then and for the next 3-4 years.....say the better team didn't win.

Ain't it great though!?!?!? In September when all the races in Major League Baseball are either decided or boring; the NBA hasn't begun yet, and the NHL is only in pre-season form: Aren't we all blessed and fortunate to have enough hype and drama around a week two game!? No matter who wins (Jet's of course), it'll be a an entertaining game worth the wait.

I think this is a great opportunity for our younger core of players who haven't been involved with anything like this to learn how to prepare, what to say and not to say, and become part of a next generation of Jets killers....with so much turnover I think this is a great opportunity for our team to become a tighter more cohesive unit and get back to the "us against the world" mentality that the Patriots have used so successfully in years past. Nobody is picking the Pats and I personally love it.

Sunday can't come soon enough.

It'll be a slugfest but Pats win 31-24.

I don't remember Brady ever losing at the Meadowlands. 2000 was the last time they lost there, and Brady was a Clipboard holder.

I've got to work Sunday! I'm pissed. I might just call out sick (Even though they would likely kill me). Either that or show up to work and just stand up stairs watching the TV. I'm sure they wouldn't like that either.

Yep, that was BB's first year. Give me BB and Brady against a rookie coach and qb anyday.
