Is anybody else sick of this talk? I'm sick and goddamned tired of them running their mouths like they've done something. They think they can disrespect a great opponent, think they've got the best defense on earth, they think they're gonna stick. Guess what, they're not the only mother ****ers who can ****ing hit. All I've heard all week is what the Jets are planning to do to us. What do we want to do about it? Let's shut them up. Talk is ****ing cheap. It's time to put an end to this loudmouth fatass and his crew of wannabe's. They wanna treat this like the superbowl? Let's show them what championship football looks like. Let's go, fellas.

I am. I don't think I have ever seen so much chest thumping by one team before the second game of the season. It is one game out of 16. The Jets are setting themselves up for a big fall.

I am definitely looking forward to this game... It will be another test to see how good the Pats really are.

I will be there in enemy territory, so I am really pumped.

The Last Jet/Pat game I attended at the Meadowlands was in 2002. The Pats won 44-7. I am expecting the same result. I just don't think the score will be that lopsided.

If there's one thing I hate in professional sports, it's when a team that has accomplished nothing runs their mouth. I'm hoping the Patriots utterly destroy them on sunday. The victory will be that much sweeter with all of this trash talk they're spewing.

I sure am, cannot wait to watch the game

No. This is just another game to me. I get fired up for real games like Indy and Pittsburgh.

I'll be at the game. I'm with you jays52, they're not the only ones that can hit. Rhodes said it himself "no QB likes it when you're in their face." You're right Kerry -- no QB's like it -- especially one that's a rookie..

I think before all the talk that this game was simply a very important game in terms of division hopes, but its a little more now with having to prove to other teams in the East who the real best team is and who needs to quiet down and take second or third place for now.

The Jets do appear to have the edge on defense and the Patriots the edge with Coach,QB and WRs - Otherwise the rest of both rosters are pretty even.

Jets are really not talking too much. Take away Rhodes & Jenkins comments and it seems quiet...Too quiet for my liking.

I'm pumped up because it's another game, but not because of the Jets & their fans trash talking. We have the unfortunate luck of being stuck in the same division with the some of the most diluted fans in the NFL, so twice a year we have to listen to them spout off like it really matters.

Living in CT I know a ton of Jets fans and they are the dumbest people I know, they were all of a sudden Giants fans too after the Super Bowl "Well I like all New York teams" is what I heard a lot of. I guess when your team cant win anything, you just jump on the one with the same prefix that can. I wonder if I would have heard the same thing if the Bills had won Monday, but I think they are too dim to realize that they are also a NY team.

Last year they had a Super Bowl locked with their Hall of Fame QB and they finished in 3rd, this year they have it locked again with a rookie QB... maybe next year they will have it locked because they decide not to play with a QB at all.

Let them keep talking, ask the Chargers in 2007 how the Pats play when they have something to prove, or better yet ask the same Jets fans how the Pats played in week 2 when after we lost Brady and Favre was on fire in Week 1, just like Sanchez... We are going to win Sunday, because thats what we do.

I'm fired up... I'm just so sick of Sunday being at the end of the week... lol I love football, but hate the days inbetween lol.

I just want this team to be knocked off If the Pats were talking this much, the pundits would be saying they're becoming ****y. Yet a team thats never won jack **** is talking and it's good? It's time to put these fools in their place.

I'm most excited about Guyton. As tedy said, the kid has the tools. But how will he do with a hard week's worth of preparation? We shall see. That's a huge factor for us. I'm not expecting for him to be Mayo 2.0, I just hope he can fill the role reasonably well.

Absolutely fired up, and what a great idea for the Jets to fire up everyone on the Pats squad before the game. As if they already weren't. Can't wait for Sunday.

I'm guessing you meant deluded, or delusional...but I'm just a dumb, dim Jets fan. ;)

More so than usual for obvious reasons but we're going to have to be patient also. Jets want a war sunday so I hope we give them one but I personally wont be expecting fireworks on Offence and Defence as both are still finding their feet.

Another tight, ground out victory will do me.

If all you were able to take away from my post was a spelling mistake... then I can't argue with you about that.

I'm tackling my easy chair and sacking the remote, that's how pumped up I am.
