I think he'd be a fantastic influence on the younger players (of which we have a lot), even if he has lost a step or two. I really hope he rejoins the team. I think we really could use him as much for motivation as play.

No. He's done.

If BB wants to replace Pees next year and sign Seau as DC then fine - Otherwise NO!

I thought he played fairly well last year, all things considered.

This defense needs guys with speed - Seau has knowledge, skills but speed is the problem.

Week 10 or so would be more than fine.

No, I don't want him back. With Mayo hurt, the team needs help is pass coverage, and Seau is terrible at that.

I want to get this guy a ring.....but I question what he can bring to the table having only played 4 games since SB42. I also would have to question how good it is to let him sit out the season and than bring him in at the end if he wants to play it would seem now would be the time not with 6 weeks to go when persumably Mayo would be back. I know he feels its a matter of what he has in the tank but hopefully we don't need him at the end of the season. If Mayo comes back and Thomas stays healthy than hopefully Guyton and Woods are entrenched and we don't need him. If we do need him than sure I want him back.

He knows the system but he is just too slow in coverage.

I'm not sure I totally agree with the need for help in pass coverage. What we got hurt on was the screen passes to the outside and Seau can be very disruptive against them. His experience is invaluable and he can do this very well from an ILB position.

I strongly disagree that he can be disruptive. Hes just not fast enough anymore.

I want some more TBC ! Yikes, did I really say that ? TBC was one of the better defensive players out there... is that a problem ?

Seau said a couple of weeks ago, that he's filming a tv series and wouldn't be available until Nov.-Dec.

C'mon, he's forty, and about in the same shape as Favre. He might be good for a couple of games. I'd like to see him get a ring as much as he would, I just don't think it's going to happen.

What next, bring back Testaverde to back up Brady ?

So do I. Junior >>> Effin Alexander.
