I think the game will be close, but, in the end, the 2 advantages Ryan says we have (Brady and Bellichick) will win out.

I doubt it, but lets wait until Sunday. I live in NYC and have for seven years but grew up 15 minutes from Foxboro and my family has had season tickets to the Pats since the early 70s. Living in NYC it is easy to see the inferiority complex the happless jets have. Everyone loves the Gmen more (kind of like the Yanks/Mets.) Jets are and always will be the second most beloved team in their hometown. Kind of sad when you think about it.

I don't think you want to wish for that. Our OL didn't exactly look stellar at picking up Buffalo's blitzes on Monday night.

I'm glad the Jets played as well as they did, because now they can't sneak up on the Patriots. If the Jets played poorly, I would worry about this possibly being kind of like a trap game.

And I am also thinking that the Jets might well come in with a confident attitude that's founded on a VERY wobbly foundation. Let's see how the rookie QB performs against a patient and determined defense.

I don't think you want to wish for that. Our OL didn't exactly look stellar at picking up Buffalo's blitzes on Monday night.

Obviously nobody wants to get Brady too beat up but hell, it's football and if you want to win then a defense blitzing us plays right into Brady's strength. This from 2007:

Brady is currently setting the pace for the group with a 152.74 passer rating and an 80 percent completion rate against the blitz.

Well, after our early performance, I don't think we need to worry about any trap games. I certainly don't think the players and coaches are remotely satisfied with the Buffalo game, even if the outcome was thrilling.

As of now the Jets have a better team OVERALL in terms of talent - They have a better OL,better DL,better LBs and better movement from the RBs than we do if you base it on play from the first game.

I don't think Buffalo is better than Houston so we can't base it on their opponent to ours.

What they don't have is Brady and Belichick but the question remains....

Will having Brady and Belichick and their gameplan overcome the lack of depth in other areas in order to beat the Jets?

Right now in terms of confidence, I cannot say they can or can't- That will not be known until shortly after 1pm sunday

Can you honestly say AT THIS TIME AFTER 1 GAME and I emphasize "AT THIS TIME AFTER 1 GAME" that the Patriots have a better OL,DL and LBs than the Jets? - I can't

Maybe things will change and this team will show better on sunday and beat the Jets like they should since they are the AFC favorite..but then again looking at last week I would not bet big money on it until I see this defense not be taken to the woodshed from the opponents backfield and for the OL to give Brady more time to throw.

Let me help you here. The focus of the Pats Defense was to control the Bills WRs. Did we do that? Yes we did, and we did it well. Well THIS week the focus will be on a different area. For the Jets the focus is on the Running Game, Leon Washington, and Dustin Keller. BB will be looking to set up schemes that will "control" the effectiveness of these three threats.....and force Sanchez to find the weakness.

Now lets look at the Jets defense. For this area I offer this. Who has had the baddest D over the last few years. Isn't it a lot like the Ravens D, which, coincidentally is a lot like the Jets D. Well haven't the Pats schemes been VERY effective against the Steelers D over the years. Even last year with a depleted team we are 2 Randy Moss brutal drops from going into half time with a 10 point lead.....and a very different game.
